Islamia college of science and commerce

Remarks :

It is said that the course in which I had applied has a lot of competition in terms of merit, the average cutoff is between 90-96%, otherwise, those who have lesser won't be selected unless they have any certificate of reservation, The admission process was really fast and was unexpected that in 2 months they managed to complete the admission process and regular classes were started on 1 Aug according to the UGC guidelines. You don't have to visit the institution in person you can just go to the official website and can get the Admission form easily when they will announce dates for admissions, mostly admissions start between 1-15th of July. The college has shown a great interest in terms of those students who are not willing of their expenses or are not in a condition so they can fulfill their requirements for education, the college has really good reservation policies most of the student from reserved categories get selected I don't think there's a need for improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college faculty is really good the professor is nice they just don't waste their time on meaningless things they just put all of their efforts to teach the best they can. But the nonteaching staff is vice-versa of what the teachers are. Almost every professor has got a Ph.D., Maybe if someone has lesser education qualifications most of them have a Master's degree, and other than that they have got professors for us some of them are deputed from other institutions. Well, we have just recently completed our class work and I have no experience with the semester exams otherwise they take Assessment tests which were not that much easy to pass. And they told us they set papers by themselves.

Placement Experience :

Most of the time 6-semester students get placements offered and most of them are in the commerce stream and not many in other streams I must say, though the degree doesn't matter there should be some serious discussion on that. Not a lot of companies visit this institution, most of them are private sector companies, public/private banks, the Mumbai stock exchange, etc. The salaries the student gets after placement is almost 15000-20000Rs in starting and above 40000 would be a rare case. The percentage of students getting placements is between 40-50%. Well my plans after I will complete my degree is like I would be to prepare for the foreign country exam and try to go and start working on my career from there that's decided and there will be no change in my plans, it's my dream to live a good, very healthy and happy lifestyle there and you know the situation in our country is not as it's in other countries, and life is different there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are not a lot of changes in terms of application fees, admission, or any other fields, it may vary from 100-1000Rs. Depending upon the criteria of admission and the student's intake of the particular course. They provide scholarships most of which are from government funding and the students have to fill out the application form. Scholarships and providing valid proof that can get scholarships easily, secondly, I am still studying and experiencing and exploring my college because it's been 3 months since I am going to that institution, so I have no idea about the jobs or placement.

Campus Life :

Yes, they organize a lot of events every year they are mostly entrepreneurial, business-related technology related debates, and marathon races, picnics, botanical tours, they just do that every year, its really fun out there, and being a part of all these things. The social group I would say is like students organizing many events by themselves like music events, dance events, public awareness-related issues, and all that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have an interest in the business field so that why I choose bba course. There is about a 1:4 ratio of faculty-student ratio. Almost all faculty members are well and highly qualified in their fields. Exams are moderate level.
