Remarks :

Eligibility is You have to just pass 10+2 with 60% (General Merit) and PCMB/PCMC/PCME combination in 12th std The college takes admission based on 3 quotas KCET, COMEDK and Management quota along with Diploma(Lateral Entry). The admission process is smooth and the staff is very friendly in nature.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Computer Science because of my passion and placements. The college has total 280 teachers with 4000+ students with the ratio being approximately 1:15 All the faculties are well qualified and teaching methods differ from branch to branch overall the concepts are made easy and scoring becomes easy in SEE. There are 2 semesters per year with 3 CIE (Continuous Internal evaluation) are 3 per sem along with a SEE(Semester end examination). The exams are not difficult to pass and one can easily score 9+ sgpa in the first 2 semesters.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies such as Smartknower, Infosys, Bizotic, Tcs, Nesle etc provide internships to students. Projects such as Android development, Web development, and UI/UX eyc are carried out. Recently our college created an app Taskly(used as a reminder alarm, using kotlin) which is also available in play store.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus drive from the 6th Semester. Our college was visited by 200 companies with the major ones being TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. Branches like CSE, ISE and EEE got 100% placement this year with other branches getting 90%+ placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are generally hiked every year. There are many scholarships available such as SSP, and NSP, for girls there is a special scholarship and even we have college scholarship( vvve scholarship which is up to 25k). Mostly Internships we get in 3rd year with a stipend of 10k INR and Jobs vary from 3-27 LPA with the average being 5-6 LPA.

Campus Life :

The fest organised is Vidyuth Technical fests are held often by clubs like Google developers club, osl etc. The library not only provides books but also laptops. The classroom is well equipped with impartus which records all classes and students can see it later. Sports are given a lot of significance, the main sports being tennis, badminton, cricket, athletivs, chess etc. There are 32 clubs in our college the main ones being the Google developers club, open source lab, Toastmaster club cultural club etc.

Hostel Facilities :

We have free wifi, daily maintenance, weekly twice nonveg, lifts, bed, wardrobe, table, chair and buckets with personal toilets in each room which is shared by 3. Registration is done at the time of admission with fees bringing 75k. The locality is one of the best localities of Mysore called Gokulum, Pgs are available from 6k-10k.

Placements is conducted for all the branches, where various companies visited to pick candidates from respective branches and the highest package offered was 13Lpa and the median package offered is 5-6Lpa and lowest salary is from 3.5 lpa, so based on students interview performance, the package is fixed, and the minimum eligibility criteria is 60% and above for Placements and the companies hiring like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, 6d technologies, DeltaX, First American, Robosoft technologies,etc and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be developer that why I chose CS Engineering. The faculties are Good. But not that great. The faculties are well Qualified and some of them are very experienced but the rest are new staff. There are sem exams at the end of every semester and in between, they conduct 3 Internal exams for your internal marks. And if you want to pass you have to study. you can't easily pass the exams.
