Remarks :

The eligibility of the course was science stream with minimum 55% in 12th class. The application form was available in Mumbai University website and the college form was available in college website. The application fees was free in Mumbai University website but the college form was available for 100rs. Reservation was available for sc st and fees was less also The improvement has been done as it was conducted in online mode so because of that we didn't required to step out of our home

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I wanted to prepare for upsc exam so i thought learning maths would be an good option so that's i took this course also maths was my favourite subject so i thought if my plan a didn't get success I will do programming language so that's why intook this course. There are 6 teacher with 24 students in our class. The teacher are highly qualified and teaches very good. They always tries to teach with easy methods. The exams are conducted after every unit is completed by the teacher. It is quite easy to pass in the exam as everything would come from practical sheet only

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No,the fees are very less also the college provide reservation so that everyone can study easily. The college conducts internship programme every year in the 6th sem which is for third year students. Mostly bank jobs are available through that as programming is required for that. The stipend range is from 8000-12000 per month.

I have not applied for any specific placement as I am in my second year and will be going in my third year this year. Many companies hire candidates but I have a rough idea about the placement of the college.

Students can sit for placement in their 4th year given some academic criteria are full-filled by students. A lot of companies around 230 this year (2023), including MnC come for placement. to name a few big companies are- Jane street, Optiver, Google, Facebook, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, BCG, sony, Samsung, Jaguar, etc, etc. The highest package for the year 2022 was 4 crore, around 25 students got 1 cr package, and the average salary was 23 lakhs. The chances of getting a placement from IIT Bombay are for sure better than any other institution. My plans are to get into any of the big companies I mentioned above :).

After 5th semester, That is after 3rd year of the degree, students get eligible for their placements. Till now we have not visited any companies, as this is our last year so we will get to know more about placements. The highest package I have heard from my friends who have done B.com and gone for a job, is they get 12 to 18k in hand salary as per their communications. Everyone gets the opportunity to go for placements, but some want to do MBA and other degrees so they don't go for an account. My plans after my degree are, I want to do an MBA In finance and accounting and then a Job.
