Review To PCCOE , Pune

Remarks :

My Admission to this college is through the India quota where admissions are through JEE mains rank. I have applied through the CAP round conducted by MHCET. because of all India quotas, my admission is considered in the open category. the admission process was pretty simple first of all you have to fill out the list of colleges and there were 3 rounds after each round you can change your priority list. this college was allotted to me in the 2nd round on 97.4 percentile in jee mains.

Course Curriculum Overview :

faculty of the college is very good and qualified. there is a good faculty-per-student ratio. I have chosen computer engineering here because it is the best course in our college. the teaching method is good there is a projector in each class college and there is a total of 4 exams conducted throughout the semester. IE1 , MTE , IE2 & ETE . passing criterion is to have at least 40% in each examination.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies which provide internship offers recently companies like IBM, Barclay, Cummins, KPIT etc came to college for internships. the college provides internships. there is a digital marketing department in the college which also hires students. as a BTech student stipend is a bit less but you will get the opportunity to work with good companies.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placement from the third year VIth semester only there are many companies like cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Accenture persistent, Cummins, TCS, Barclay and many more companies came in the past which includes good product-based companies also . this academic year for computer branch average placement was 8.05 lac. there are a total of 422 came for placments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for open candidates is a bit higher. I am availing EBC scholarship so for that I have to pay a total of 79553 Rs per year there are many governments or non-government scholarship updates given to students from college, especially for girls there are many scholarships available.

Campus Life :

There are so many clubs in the college like coding, art circle, NSS, ISR, HSC and many more. for the computer department, there is CESA which conducts techfest called anatya where there are so many events. Lots of good books are available in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

Basically, students are eligible for placement after 2nd year and on particular skills which the company needs. Almost students are placed on campus level placement. The highest package offered was 42 lakhs and bagged was 32 lakhs. Almost 85% are placed. Eligible candidates are always placed. My plan is to continue my higher studies with an MS degree.
