Remarks :

I opted for the B.Com course as I'm also preparing for the CA exams. It was a merit-based admission. The admission form was available online. I went to the nearby cafe and got my admission process done. They sent a message after my selection to my phone number. Even the fees were submitted online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The B.Com course I opted for is commerce and accounts-based curriculum. The faculty is intelligent but isn't very helpful and I often observe a delay in various disciplines. Due to the updated education policy, we've semester exams now so we also have monthly class tests and a bunch of assignments with internal exams.

Class Size : 500Course Fees : INR 6321 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for my course are affordable as it is somewhere near 7000/- There are many national and college scholarships. But it is a very lengthy process to avail and very less students get the scholarship in real.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is good, the classes are enormous and we've labs for each related subject. The playground is also huge and many activities are going around throughout the year. We do have class representatives and student representatives.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have done my 12th in commerce and I want to further pursue my career in business management by studying bcom which is for sure helping me. The faculty and students ratio is approx 5:5. Really Qualified teacher and the teaching method is really good exams were conducted in a timely level of difficulty was quite moderate.

I opted for this course as I was pursuing Ca and the curriculum was a bit similar in both. The student ratio was equal Teachers were skilled and qualified apart from some of the teachers, the rest was good at teaching. Jagran is one of the best colleges in Kanpur for commerce background students, which made me choose jagran. The faculty here is well qualified and really helpful. There is atleast one teacher for every 50 students. The exams are held semester wise. And there are two semester per year.

Reality of an Graduate.

Placement Experience:

Students got eligible to sit in placements from the fifth semester. In terms of on-campus placements, a good amount of companies visits the campus to hire freshers. We regularly get updated through the upcoming placement opportunities in our email. But after completing end term exams of last semester those updates got very few and then no updates. There are some tests conducted by the University from time to time for students to check and set their eligibility for upcoming companies based on their performance.
