Remarks :

The admission process depends on counseling. The cutoff is very low. You can easily clear it. Reservation benefit applicable on sc st and OBC only. Application form fees and dates are available as per guidelines by rgpv.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There were semester exams for engineering students. A total of 8 semesters were there. You have to pass each and every semester. The task is not difficult to pass the exam. You can easily crack it. Each semester has 5 papers.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7rd semester. Students were selected from campus placement. Many companies like TCS, and Infosys came for campus placement. The annual package will be 3 lacks per annum and the highest package will be 8 lacks per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship is given by the government. It is different for sc st and OBC. You can get education loans from various banks and interest will be very high on the bank loans. I didn't get any campus selection. but the college will provide campus selection.

Campus Life :

Life on campus was very good. The annual fest is conducted in the month of December and it is free of cost. There were various types of books available in the library. Whatever book you want you can get from there.

A good college for btech

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of last semester, students become eligible for placements. Any company visited like Bridgestone, TCS, Infosys, etc. Packages 32 lakh and average packages 4 lakh per annum. Almost 65% of students are getting placement.

Our college placements record is quite excellent, but core companies are lesser placement records. From the 5th-6th semester, companies came for the placements and some companies provide internships and training for the selected students for that company. Above 6.0 CGPA of students are getting placements. For Now, My plan is to be placed in a very reputed company with a very good package for earning and then moving ahead.

After the 4th semester companies visit the campus for offering the internship to teh students and after the 6th semester the companies visit for offering the placements to the students. Some of the companies offering highest placements in SGSITS are : 1) Google 2) Amazon 3) TATA 4) ACC 5) Goldman Sachs 6) Samsung 7) Accenture 8) Deloitte The highest package being offered is 32 l.p.a for core electrical branch and 8 l. p. a for software developer profile. About 99 percentage students get placed every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
