Remarks :
You have to qualify CUET Exam for B.Sc maths and have to be in the required marks up to which the cut-off goes but from this year you can also take direct admission. Application forms could be found on the official website of Allahabad university. When I took admission the fee was 1700 but now as per the new rules fees have been increased. Application dates have been closed now the cut-off is going to come in a few days. Reservation is given as per the rules of the government. The admission process is good but still, there are many changes that should occur in it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I liked it and wanted to continue the further study maths. Faculty: student ratio is not too big. I mean there are enough faculty members to manage students. Although there are a lot of students as compared to faculty members. The teaching method is nice. But as everyone knows nothing is fully perfect. So there are few teachers who are unable to make students understand the subject. Few teachers are too good at whatever they teach fits exactly in our mind at once while there are some teachers who are unable to set that co-ordination with the students. There are no term exams in the college only final exams occur. The final exams are not too much hard to pass just a little bit of focus can give u good marks. Whatever the teachers thought our paper was enough for exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Last year when I took admitted to the college the admission fee was 1700 but as per the new rules, the admission fee has been increased 4 times this year. Scholarships are given as per the rules of the government after filling out the scholarship form. Financial assistance and job I don't know much about that because I didn't get any of them and also don't know anyone who got these from the college.
Campus Life :
I don't remember any Annual fests and tech fests that occurred since I took the admission. Although the fresher's party and farewell party was arranged. And also in November some programs of different departments had been conducted. Books are available at the library but we are not allowed to enter them. Whatever book we want we can borrow with our library card from the librarian. The classrooms are clean but not too well. There are no proper arrangements of light. Also in some classrooms, there is not a single tube light not even a CFL only source of light is the sun. Sports and extracurricular activities occur on the main campus, not in our college. The main campus has cricket, volleyball, and football grounds. If anyone has to play he/she has to go to the main campus. There is no such type of social groups, clubs, or websites that are run by the students.
