Remarks :

Eligibility is that you have to complete your undergraduate by B.Sc in Geology at any recognized University. Admission is through Cut off marks of B.Sc Geology. A minimum of 55% marks is necessary for applying to the course. Application is released every year on the Official website of Patna University, the application fee is 500 INR. The application date is released around June or July. 45 percent of seats are reserved for its university students and in that also there are seats reserved for Gen, EWS, OBC-1, OBC2, SC & ST. The admission process is good enough. No one can raise any dispute on the admission process. It is transparent to everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this subject because it is a very interesting subject, which explains our Earth internally and how life, and the earth evolve. It has so many job opportunities like in PSU, as in ONGC, GSI, COAL INDIA, etc. There are approx. 8 faculty in Post Graduate Course and there are approx. 25 students each semester, so in my view, the ratio is good for students. All faculties are well trained that how to teach students so that they can understand the concept easily. They were focused to teach the students in that way so that they had not remembered the things. 5 faculties are Ph.D. holders and the rest one was pursuing their Ph.D. Term exams are always timely, and occurs in 6 month nowadays the session is late due to COVID but it will be on proper time from the next session. The exams were easy to pass because the facilities teach the students properly so that they can easily pass in-term exams, but you have to do a regular class

Internships Opportunities :

The internship was offered by IIT but they are paid. You have to pay for that. There are some free internships given by the Indian Academy of science for limited students, and they are organized in the summer. No project work was given to anyone.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It has slightly more fees than Undergraduate. You have to pay Rs 18000 for this 2-year course including the exam fee which is taken 4 times in this course. You will get a hostel if you apply for that, the criteria are based on a mark and that cost approx. 4000 per year excluding food and tiffin. I have only gotten a Post Matric scholarship one time by Bihar Government. No other scholarship, financial assistance, or job will give to any students from here

Campus Life :

Only one annual sports meet was organized every year in University and it happens in December. Our university Library is very rich in the library, sufficient books are available for all subjects and two books are allowed for each student at one time. Journals are also available in the library, you can read them there and also take them to your home after issued. Classrooms are airy, sufficient bench desks are available, and too much space remains vacant after sitting all students. Classrooms have a projector and free Wi-Fi for digital learning via computer. There is a big ground on the University campus you can play cricket, and football and for the indoor game, there is a gymnasium hall where you can play Table tennis, Badminton and Carrom board. There are students union like ABVP, CRJD, JDU, and also Disha students union. Students can enroll themselves in it. There is also a student union election every year for President, Vice president, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is chosen for me because the IT sector is my dream job. The brief faculty of student ratio is very high. The teaching method is offline or online both methods are available here. The exam is so easy because the teaching technique is so simple and clear.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my case for research, M.Sc. is required so I went for it. In the physics department, there are seven faculties and students per year are almost 30. All facilities were highly qualified in their respective fields and had lots of research publications in their hand. There were two-term exams and one mid-term and one end-term in a semester. In general, case to pass any exams we have to understand the topics, and the best beauty of the institution is that the professors are good at that. So it depends on the students. In my case moderately too hard to pass exams.
