Remarks :
I took admitted to Mbbs in Mahatma Gandhi medical college Indore mp via neet ug marks. In order to sit in neet exam, one should clear 12th standard with biology as a subject. Then by securing a good rank, one can get admission to the dream college of their choice. Neet counseling and seat locking take place online mode. After allotment one has to present himself or herself to the college with the required documents. College fees were 64k at that time. It took 3 working days to complete the admission process. So kindly reach out before the last date of admission. The admission process is so hectic. The administrative authority for counseling doesn't explain the process at once and makes the student-run all the time. Also, the affidavit process is also hectic as u need to go collectorate which is far away from college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My interest was to do mbbs so entered this college. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15. The professors graduated in mbbs and pg in their respective subjects. I don't like the teaching style. They only focus on the theoretical part and not on the clinical. For a good doctor, clinical must be strong. Sessional exams and pre-uni and uni are conducted in a yearly wise pattern. 50 percent passing criteria.
Internships Opportunities :
Mgm medical college Indore provides mbbs course of 5.5 yrs which includes 4.5 years of theory + posting and 1 year of internship in my government hospital. The internship period gives us the opportunity to know our interest in various subjects and patient exposure
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure includes 64k as tuition fees and 12k as hostel fees. One can avail medhavi chhatra yojna and post matric scholarship if he /she belongs to mp domicile students. Now the fees have been increased to 1 lakh.
Campus Life :
Yearly college fests are organized by college final year students for which funds are sanctioned by the college dean. This fest includes sports like cricket badminton table tennis chess etc. Also, cultural, literary, and fine arts committees organize their respective events.
