Course Curriculum Overview :

As I was very much interested in medical products and keen to help for the benefit of society I choose a Bachelor of pharmacy as a carrier. Earlier it was 60 student batch but Now they have extended it to 100 students. Faculty members are mostly Ph.D. Holders and Master of pharmacy. Most heads OF DEPARTMENT are Ph.D. The holders and the Assistant professor are also Ph.D. or master of pharmacy holders. Faculty are very well experienced in both industries and teaching. Their teaching methods are good they use both PowerPoint presentations and board and chalk for a better understanding of concepts Regarding exams, 2 semesters happen in the academic year, and 4 periodic exams.

Faculty take great effort for internship of third year B. Pharmacy student. Companies such as Sandoz Pvt. ltd., medical research lab, Mayor's pharmaceutical, ACG capsules, Microlabs, St. George Hospital, Cama Hospital, etc are some companies where students have done internship training for one month but are not offered stipend. In the Final year project and research is included in syllabus projects on pharmaceutical, Pharmacology, Analysis, etc every individual topic can be selected as per student choice and the mentor guide. Mentors take great efforts in research work. Some research work published in international journals

Placement Experience:

Actually the Placements depend on the intellectual of the students. In these placements, the college invites several companies to their campuses to recruit students studying in that college. After analyzing different skills being taught by the college and the CV, the company sets some criteria to qualify in several rounds and finally get a job in that company.

It is also related to medicine or much more like it the only difference is you have to learn how to make it and then prescribe it. Teachers of cology department are great, with the organic department, and others.

College does provide placement drives, but after all, it depends on the student whether he can get through the process or not. So the placement is there but not many big companies come, the small-scale companies conduct the drives.

The college provides placement services to the student every year. But there is a low package so I prefer my own way to grow in my interested field. The average package after completing b pharmacy is 1.5 to 3 lakh per year.

Honestly, since I am in my second year, I do have not much idea about the campus placements in our college, but surely I know there is a dedicated placement cell here. After getting the degree a person is eligible, to work in the pharmaceutical industry as well as they can open a pharmacy also.
