GTBIT College Review

Remarks :

At the time when I want to take admitted to my college students have to pass an entrance test called 'IPU CET' occurred by Indraprasth University. After the result declaration students had to take part in the counseling process for the college allotment and based on the rankings we get our college. In my college, there were Reservation benefits for Sikh students but I am not eligible for that. So that's how I got admission to my college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen B.Tech as my course because I really love coding and had a lot of interest in making applications. So talking about the course curriculum, In the first year, it was the same as the other branches like ECE and EEE so it becomes boring for me because I had no interest in electrical work. But from the start second of the second year, the curriculum was core Technology based which I have a lot of interest in. And we had good teachers to teach the subjects. Most have done master's or Ph.D. from good colleges so the qualifications of the teachers were good. We had exams in two parts internal and external. Internal was about 30 marks and external was 70. Both were difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

In my college, there were good Internship opportunities also. Students can also go outside the college for better internship opportunities if they want. College also provides training courses for improving skills.

Placement Experience :

So talking about the campus placements of my college it was overall good. From the beginning of the 4th year, companies are getting into the college to hire students. Companies like Amazon, Josh Technology, and ZS associates had come and hired the students and the highest package was 30lpa by amazon.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of my college was like 1 lakh+/yr. So basically for the full course, it was about 4.5lakhs for 4 years. There were also scholarships in my college if anyone maintains a first-year percentage of more than 95 then he/she can get the scholarship. Campus hiring is also good in my college the average package is about 6lpa.

Campus Life :

Talking about the campus life of my good it was good. The infrastructure is nice. Every year an annual fest was conducted in my college called "GATES" in which they invite popular singers to perform. Majorly this was conducted in the month of march. Tech fests were also conducted by the college. There was a Library to sit and read books and there were a lot of opportunities for sports & extra curricular activities on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members are very nice. as my college is built recently so everything is new and modern. we have a smart board with folding chairs. there were 480 intakes in 2022 from which 120 students are in my course. The girl ratio is really low. we have very qualified teachers, some of them are from USA big multinational companies. The course is really hard, and exams are very timely.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Many companies in various domains like HFT, Finance, Consulting, core, analyst, management, and product management come to campus and offer a satisfactory amount of seats to students. In recent placements, the highest offer was made to a student of 4 crores pa by Jane street. Around 70-80% of students get placed.

Placement Experience:

Students generally sit for placement at the end of the third year and try for an internship at the end of the second year. Around 70 percent of students get placed in campus placement whereas only 50 percent of students get internship opportunities here at IIT Delhi. My plan is to either pursue MBA from IIMs or get into an MNCs after completing my degree.
