The best college

Remarks :

The admissions process in this college is quite simple. The eligibility criteria for getting admission is that a candidate should have obtained at least 33% marks in aggregate of all subjects taken by her at the +2 examination. The application form is available at the reception after paying a nominal fee of Rs 200.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose BA because I want to become a teacher. Generally, the pupil-teacher ratio in BA is 50:1. All the faculty members are well-educated and helpful. The method of teaching is quite interesting. Exams are conducted as per the university norms and are moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities :

The placement record of our college is very good. Almost 80% of the students got placed in good companies. The college has a tie-up with many good companies. Which helps the students to get an internships. If you are looking for a college with good placements, you can take admission here.

Placement Experience :

As I have done BA from this college and to get a job B. ED is necessary that's why I didn't get any job. But various reputed business houses visit the campus and offer opportunities to the students. Extension lectures are also arranged by inviting professional consultants.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Colleges give some fee concessions to needy students irrespective of their caste and creed. Scholarships are given to SC and tribal students and to those who have an annual income of less than 1 lakh. Campus placement programs are also organized.

Campus Life :

Many festivals are celebrated here each year and the Punjab youth and training fest is conducted in September or October. There are plenty of books, magazines, and journals available in the library. To encourage creativity, the college publishes an annual magazine "ABHIROOP". It has all the basic amenities which are needed in a college. Various sports activities are conducted including NSS and NCC.

For preparing myself for competitive exams. Faculty: Student ratio is 25:500. Most of the senior teachers are Ph.D. holders and others are pursuing it. After 6 months after the beginning of a semester term exams are held and if you prepare yourself in time than it is very easy to pass the exams.
