Remarks :

College is taken admission by Wbjee exam, you should pass 12th exam. if you are general caste for CSE your wbjee rank Should be under 6000. There are reservation benefits for OBC A, SC, ST, and PWD. You can find the application form on the Wbjee website. Cut off:- General - 5k - 6k (GMR) OBC B - 7k (GMR) OBC A - 12k(GMR) SC- 13-15k (GMR) ST - upto 30k (GMR) GMR - General merits rank

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose Computer science and Engineering because at that time it was a highly demanded course all over the World and I have quite an interest in this course. This is a very interesting subject. Faculty students ratio is 1:7 In our branch, Faculty are very friendly .they always support us as soon as possible. They encourage us for doing extra activities. They always support doing anything about our subject. There are 4 internal exams in a semester.. and a semester exam to pass all should hard work

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For core branches like Electrical Engineering and mechanical engineering, there are many Government services that give opportunities for internships. For ECE and CSE we should learn any coding language and development for getting an internship.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting for placement like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro etc. The average package is 450000 per year and the highest package is 2500000 per year. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This is a state government engineering College so the fee structure is very low - 12000 per year. College gives also freeship for 6 students (0 per year)and half ship (6000 per year) for 6 students. we have the opportunity to take a scholarship SVMCM 60k per year. College on-campus placement is moderate 90% of students are got placed according to last year. Average package 440000 per year

Campus Life :

The college organises an Annual fest tech fest and many more programs about science. Also, organise Annual sports. Our college has many Education related colleges, they increase the quality of education on our campus like GDSC, CARQ etc

Hostel Facilities :

College gives a hostel for 3rd-year and 4th-year students. For 1st and 2nd-year students, you should take mess or PG. There are many messes and PG is very near the college. Hostel meals quality this very Good but mess meals quality is very low. hostel fees are 10000 per year and mess fees deter for defferent mess minimum is 36k per year

My college is best of all

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem students can get placements. Companies that visit our college are amazon, geotech, Capgemini, Tcs, etc with an average offer of 6 LPA. The highest package in 2022 was 15 lpa on-campus and the average was 6 LPA. There is 100% placement. I am going to be an app developer and build my own apps and do freelancing and startups.

Review Of HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Placement Experience:

From 6 semesters onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys are some of the companies which visited the campus. And more than 500 offers were made. The highest package here is 45 LPA which was offered by Amazon. The average package here is 4.5 LPA-5 LPA. More than 75% of students got placed. My plan after the degree is to secure a job with a maximum package.
