Remarks :

College is good for undergraduates. Good professors are there. Overall college is good. But not much as compared to Arabhavi, Bangalore, and Bagalkot because there Post graduation courses are also available. Eligibility is 12th passed in the science stream.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is fully based on botany particularly Horticulture like fruits, vegetables, flowers, plantations, medicinal, and aromatic plants. I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Mainly private and government jobs are available. Students can even help this farmer in the field by adopting new technologies which they have studied in their graduation and increase their profit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are nearly 50k per semester. Our course contains 8 semesters. Students can get the Karnataka state scholarship, ICAR Merit scholarship, University General scholarship, and merit scholarship. Students after completion of graduation may get jobs in both govt and Pvt. sectors or they may even continue their M.Sc. or Ph.D.

Campus Life :

The campus has many plants for practical study purposes. Each month fest will be there in the hostel. Many programs like freshers and the ethnic day will be conducted. A big library with >1000 books, journals, magazines, and article is available. The classroom is big with a smart board. Physical education class is also there along with studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was really interested in agriculture as I belong to an agricultural family. I chose this course to learn and help the farmers. The faculty out here is excellent and very experienced. It is a course of 8 semesters and there will be semester-end exams in each semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason to choose the course was that I wanted to get into medicine but since I was not allotted I got into this which also had a good scope. The college has a good faculty-student ratio. Faculty members are well qualified with minimum qualification of M.Sc.(Agri) in the top best universities

Placement Experience:

Placements are rare because nobody is interested to do the job. Most students study for competitive exams. In the last year some practicals like raw, experimental learning, etc. are studied. Some personal development programs are conducted in the IDP scheme.

Uas dharwad is better to select

Placement Experience:

I have no idea about placements. Seniors are either pursuing a PhD, or they are working as JRF. I haven't heard that even one of our seniors has been placed in any company. Students are worried about their future. There is no job security in this university for M.Sc and MBB students.
