Remarks :
My admission was purely on a merit basis. My 10th and 12th percentages were good so I got admission. But now CUCET is being held for admissions. The application form can be found at the official website of Delhi University, i.e. www.du.ac.in. The application form is around 800-1200 depending on your reservation category. There are reservations for each caste and class of people. With scholarships being offered for BPL students. The admission process is totally fine.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because science always fantasizes me. The working of the world, nature, the environment we live in, our ecosystem the other organisms with whom we share this one world all intrigues me. The faculty students ratio is 1:10. The faculty are from one of the top prestigious universities not only from India but from foreign also. They all have Ph.D. degrees and are well-versed in their respective subjects. Their teaching methods are up to date as they are all well trained and use modern equipment too like slideshows projector etc. for better learning and understanding. The term exams are every 6 months and they are held on time. It was not very difficult if you pay attention in the classes itself.
Internships Opportunities :
No roles are offered here for BSc courses we just get a certificate of completion of the course. Some internship opportunities are there but are very rare or do not stipend at all. Interested ones should look out for these.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike is not much. As it is a Central University the government pays for all the benefits for the welfare of the student. Du scholarship is offered. No jobs are not offered for MSc courses. You can however do some side hustles while studying.
Campus Life :
The annual fests are Diwali mela, Holi mela, Roshni, Sankaran, and many more . All books are available and if not can be bought within 1 week of informing the officials of the library. The classrooms are well equipped with everything benches and chairs are all in shape and proper.
