Campus Life @RSCOE

Remarks :

The Mh-CET is the entrance exam for admission in any engineering college in Maharashtra, Although one can get admission through JEE Mains also, then you are not eligible for any Scholarship schemes. Also, 10+2 with Mathematics is compulsory. The Application starts after the CET results are announced on CET's official website. 2 application rounds happened in our time. The application fees and application Schedule is displayed on the CET website after some days the exam result is announced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in coding so I choose Computer Engineering as a major and also the computer department faculties in our college are very good not only in theoretical concepts but in practical knowledge also. We can say that there is 1:20 faculty: student ratio. All the teachers have completed their post-graduation from reputed universities across India. The teachers are updated with the latest technologies in the domain. There are 2 term exams per year which consist of 60 marks. The papers are of easy to medium level. Anyone having a fundamental knowledge of the subject can able to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college has signed MoUs with many companies and startups like Zersar Technologies which offers ESD internships to students, TCS which offers summer internships, and KMITL Thailand university which offered ML intern roles.

Placement Experience :

In general, students in our college become eligible for campus placements in their final year of study. Companies from a variety of industries like Veritas, Amazon, Hhaexchange, Hexaware, cognizant, TCS, etc. visit our campus for full-time positions and the number of offers made can vary from company to company. The highest was given by Amazon which was 42Lpa, and the average package for our college is 7LPA. Mine also looking for placements to get into the IT industry after getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee of our college for the general category is Rs.1,19,000. It includes the tuition fees and development fees which remain the same throughout the Engineering. The Scholarship is given by the Maharashtra gov to all the students whose family annual income is less than 8 lakh Rupees.

Campus Life :

At JSPM, campus life is awesome. There are annual fest and tech fest which are conducted in November or December every year. The books are always available in the library. Talking about sports, our college is somewhere lacking in sports due to limited college grounds, but the indoor games are played very well. There are many clubs and societies run by the students which are guided by one faculty coordinator like Rotract Club, E-Cell, EV club, and various inter-department associations are also there!

Hostel Facilities :

I was a local student at the time of my study, so I am not sure about the hostel facilities of the college, but my friends told me that the hostel services were good and the meal was also of good quality. The hostel can be given to anyone who has got admission to the college and the hostel fees are Rs.40,000 per student excluding mess charges. I was staying 10 km away from our college. I used to travel on my bike.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.
