My experience

Remarks :

The eligibility for the course is a minimum 12th pass. We can find the application on the nchmct website where you have to first fill up the form for the entrance exam and later once that exam is completed and grades are received you can apply for colleges according to ranks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because hotel management has always been my course of interest. The faculty-student ratio is proportionate and makes learning easier as the faculty members are well-qualified in all areas. The exams were prompt and were not difficult to pass.

Placement Experience :

Placements are provided on time by the college in the final year. The hotel companies like sayaji, taj, Oberoi, etc, and other companies like taco bell, reliance, etc also visit year after year. The package varies according to the job positions like management trainees, operational trainees, and entry-level.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As this is a government college the fee structure is moderate and their hasn't been any hike, it's paid semester-wise. College does provide scholarships and financial assistance as per government norms. The stipend is paid during industrial training in the hotels in the 2nd year.

Campus Life :

We have several extra curricular activities like sports days, fests, theme lunches, and other cultural events. We have a fully stocked library and audio-visual facilities like projectors, speakers, etc in the classrooms.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is on campus and it is quite affordable. The basic facilities like wifi, tv, geyser, etc are provided and accommodation is on sharing basis. The menu for meals is varied and the food is prepared with hygiene and provided on time.

Placement Experience:

In the second year, students have to go for industrial training so they can get experience in hotels. And in the last year, students will be able to prepare their CVs as well as they can self-apply for jobs and placements are also available from the college.
