Remarks :
The eligibility for this course is a 12th Gujarat board pass also with the gujcet exam or JEE mains marks to be counted. The application form is available through the ACPC website by the government. There is a reservation for J&K state students. The admission process is basically of three rounds including the mock round. There should be improvement regarding the clarity of the colleges as students don't get the college that they generally get in a mock round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This branch is one of the evergreen branch in engineering so this is a secure branch. The faculty: student ratio is 12:90. The faculties are highly qualified and appointed through the government so they teach well also. There are mid-term exams every semester and also they are not that tough as the faculty teaches most of the subjects during the class.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is compulsory for the 8th semester and is to be performed during that term only. So various companies offer internships but one doesn't get that much stipend also some of the students have to do paid internships. The projects are to be completed by the end of the semester.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th semester, the students are often getting placements. There are many companies that are interested in the CSE department so they get the most placement. Also, some of the companies come for civil and electrical branches too. There were 67 students placed in the CSE department last year. The highest package was 5.5 lakhs and the average was 3 lakhs. The percentage of students is not more but generally 35%. I am wishing to get the job in my branch interest.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is a government college so there are no such fees to be paid. It's roughly 1500 per year and exam fees are excluded. If one is staying far from home so the hostel is also an available option. The hostel fees and the Mess fees are to be paid extra. There are various scholarships available for SC/ST and OBC class students. The Mess scholarship is available for boys and girls. The girls are getting various benefits from government schemes.
Campus Life :
There is an annual fest conducted generally in the month of March-April, where all the students participate in various activities. Also, the tech fest is conducted twice a year in February and August, There is a library on campus also the availability of books is enough for the students who are interested to study. They just have to renew their cards which were provided by the library. The sports week is conducted by the college in the month of march. Also, the days are celebrated such as red day, black day, culture day, etc. There are many clubs and accounts driven by the students. The popular ones is NSS and GDC clubs
Hostel Facilities :
Every room has two lights, two fans, three tables, three chairs, three cupboards, and three beds which are to be shared between three students. So the room is pretty much comfortable. The meal is provided by the Mess in charge and the menu often changes regarding the various seasons. The quality of the food is also good and health is considered. The registration process for Hostel is conducted by the college and it is affordable too as per the government. The rooms are available in the village which is near to the college also PG at a walking distance of 2km.
Interview Experience :
There weren't such types of Group discussions, Interviews, or written tests throughout the admission process. The rank provided by the ACPC should fall under the merit list of the college for admission. That is the only process.
