Remarks :
The admission process for this college is through a government counselling process which is held every year at Chennai Anna University. Good cut-off marks are required for choosing this college. I obtained 171 marks. So I easily choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the mechanical engineering department because I love machines. The faculty-student ratio is 7:1. Well-trained and Experienced faculties are there. Qualification of the faculty is ME with a PhD. Term exams known as cycle tests were held three weeks once. At last before the semester exams one model exam was held.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships were offered by many companies mainly from Tuticorin thermal power plant. It was a five-day internship program. It was a very successful internship program, in which we gathered much information technically.

From the sixth-semester campus, placements were held for no-arrear students. 20+ companies visited our college. Each company offers 20+ eligible candidates. The highest package for a mechanical engineering student is 15000rs. It was different from other departments. The average package is rs 12000. 60% of the students were placed. Some companies were not responding after completing our course.

Reasonable fee structure compares to other engineering colleges. For General category 59000rs. I studied in my first graduate quota so I paid 39000rs per year. There were also bus facilities (not compulsory) with a fee of 6000 per year. Many companies came from many cities including MNCs also. Many of us were selected with a stipend starting from rs 13000. Scholarship assistance is only for the SC category.
