A quick guide into MJCET

Remarks :

There was no admission exam. I have taken the seat on a management basis, I have paid 10.5L for my entire education. There are no application forms or fees. I have no reservation benefits but the college has those benefits for other students. Nothing specific improvements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen this course because I want to become software developer and I also want to pursue my MS after I have completed my education. Faculty to student ratio is 1:30. The faculty are having basic qualifications and some of them are having Ph.D. and most of them have finished in foreign countries. Exams are being postponed most of the time because of the covid situation and most of the exams are on time and it is averagely difficult to pass.

Placement Experience :

The student becomes eligible for placement from 7 semester and there are multiple companies who approach our college. The companies are Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, TCS, etc they hire many students and they make around 100-300 offers. The highest package is 30L/yr. 10-15% of the students receive placements every year from college. I plan to move to US for pursuing my MS.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is 1.10LPA excluding the donation amount if any, there is no fee hike and there will be an extra OU fee to be paid to the university. Specifically, I did not receive any scholarship or assistance but there are many students who received a scholarship from both the central and state board of our state.

Campus Life :

There are multiple feet that our college conduct these are ENVISAGE, The SMC, etc and there are many more fun event from e-cell, robotic clubs, acm which are conducted every month. We have a very huge library and a wide range of books is available. The classroom has a basic board projected clean benches few windows fans and lights. There are little to no sports available. Websites run by our students are ACM,e-cell,teamsupra, and orator club.

Placements are a little bit slower than others here in the college. The companies offer medium to lower packages of salaries. Placements are a little difficult to get. There are several opportunities to get off campus also.
