Remarks :

Admission based on management quota should not happen even though it is a private college. It is a disadvantage for the really deserving students who do not get seats in their dream college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because the cse is in the trend of the market. It has a lot of opportunities. The faculty and student ratio is good here. The faculties are much qualified and very helpful towards students. But the teaching method should improve as it sticks to syllabus and exam only. The term exams happen monthly and are not so difficult to pass too.

Internships Opportunities :

The companies that offer internships are TCS, Mahindra, Wipro and other small companies also. The stipend depends on the skills that you have. The maximum stipend is 20000 approx. The projects are also given to make a student industry ready.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th sem onwards students become eligible for Placements. Over 50 companies visit here and mass recruitment is also conducted by some companies. Some good companies like wipro, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, hcl, hirecraft. etc. Almost 70% of students get placed usually. The highest package offered is 10 lpa approx and the average package is 3 to 4 lpa. After getting the degree, my plan is to go for a good package job and get some financial stability.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees here are less comparing other private institutes. This was my major reason to study here. I think the value for money here is good. The scholarships one can get are post matric, e medhabruti but these are based on family income and caste. I got E medhabruti here.

Campus Life :

The annual fest conducted is called TRIFEST. Trifest is conducted in the months of January and February. Plenty of books and journals are present in the library. Classrooms are also well-spaced but it needs to have a smart board, especially for CSE students. The sports are not much professional and well maintained here. One can play casually here daily but not professionally. Sports are conducted between colleges and also intra-college. Extracurricular activities completely depend on which club you have joined.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms include a bed and a table. The rooms are 4 seated for 1st year. The rooms are big enough for 4 people to stay comfortably. The meal quality is quite eatable.

Honest review about CGU

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement many companies used to come such as Amazon, cisco, pwc, tcs, wipro, cognizant, and many more companies come for campus placement. The highest package is 45 lakhs whereas the lowest pakage is 4.5 to 5lakh. more than 95 percent of students get placed. My next plan after getting the degree is to become a politician.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the start of the 7th semester. Anyone having zero backlogs is eligible to sit for placements. Around 200-250 companies from different sectors like IT, analytics, finance, and electronics visit every year. Around 900 students were placed last year from 1100 students with a record of 100% placement in the Mining And Metallurgy Department. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs from Microsoft and the average package was 11 lakhs. If in case you didn't get placements you can still try for off-campus placements in various companies. I am already selected for an internship at Qualcomm and will target PPO next year.

I am doing my bachelor's degree at this college. From school life, I loved computers and technology. So that I joined here for my brightest future. And here there are many branches and students. And the faculties are highly educated & the sem exams are computer so I improved my skill a lot in computers, and some of my teachers are too informational like you, sir/ma'am. so thank you for your good teaching which is very useful not only in the classroom but also outside helpful. And because of the much learn from campus, I want to be a faculty myself after completing my education as it is not just part-time work it's full-time work and also a lifelong goal to fulfil both teachings and learning about information technology topics. Beautiful campus with awesome people for holistic development under one roof.
