Remarks :
Easy admission process, efficient process. The application form can be obtained and filled out later on, the initial admission fee is sufficient to book a seat in the course. The eligibility is biology in the 12th standard.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have been intrigued by microbes from a young age and with a passion to enter biomedical research, I chose an undergraduate degree in microbiology. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 10:200 or 1:20 which is very helpful. Most of the faculty is highly experienced with decades and their teaching methods are a mix of the old and new.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships were independently obtained but part of coursework requirements. Hospital lab training and experience has been a great addition to the course, as well as other biomedical lab support and opportunity for growth.
Placement Experience :
There are select high-end companies, the highest being Zifo, which offers high salary packages of 40k per month for starting and quickly moving up. There is nearly 100% placement for anyone who tries. The placement cell offers constant training programs and support, including Infosys training.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is pretty good for a college of its stature in the city. It offers scholarships for sports and other eligibilities. Campus jobs do offer jobs in the even semester with on-campus, off-campus, and pooled interviews.
Campus Life :
There are a number of sports available on campus, with regular participation in university meets, etc. Other activities include College Day and Sports Day in the even semester for the student population. The RVS Quiz Club offers interclub competitions and intercollegiate GK delight to invite all college students to the city. The recently started RVS Yuva Club displays and promotes student art, music, and cultural talents by inviting famous singers and working in collaboration with the Phoenix Book of World Records. The college gym and physical education department encourage bodybuilding and weightlifting at the state and national levels.
