Internship

Remarks :

The admission process was smooth. I joined through A category that is through eamcet counseling, so the counseling and option selection was online and there were no issues. JNTUH does the eamcet counseling for all colleges taking admission through eamcet.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in computer science as I love maths and also the placements for Cse branch are fairly high compared to other branches. The faculty of the college is fine, there will be around 60 students per class. Every 20 students will be assigned a mentor and can approach him/her for any issues faced by the students. The faculty are well qualified and the college encourages the usage of various innovative learning methodologies.

Internships Opportunities :

Some companies like JPMC offer internship opportunities for 2nd or 3rd-year students offering around 50k to 70k stipend per month. During the internship period, the college supports the students to balance their academics.

Placement Experience :

The college has a decent placement record compared to the other colleges in the state. It has over 100+ companies offering placements. The internships are offered from the end of the 2nd year itself. The placements season approach almost the end of the third year. The highest package will be around 40LPA on average. The average package lies around 5LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee when I joined was 132000 rupees, I guess the fee was increased slightly. It is considerably ok. There are scholarships provided by the Telangana government for the economically weaker sections which are applicable to all eamcet colleges and their presence here as well.

Campus Life :

There are a variety of clubs and student chapters available in Vnr. There is a technical coding club. We have student chapters like CSI, ACM, IEEE, and so on. We have a robotics club as well. The cultural clubs include drama club, dance, singing, art, and short film club. There will annually be a technical Fest and a cultural fest organized by the students.

Placements are a little bit slower than others here in the college. The companies offer medium to lower packages of salaries. Placements are a little difficult to get. There are several opportunities to get off campus also.
