Remarks :
To get admission to jntu we have to write Ts eamcet for inter-based students and the diploma student secret is there. After getting a good rank of less than 10000, by facing allotment we will get admission. If we discuss the fee structure right 50000 thousand for regular B.Tech for B.Tech +MTech students it is 1 lakh..at the time admission reservation also considered for sc, st, and handicapped students have to be considered. I think there is no need for any improvement in the admission process
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am interested in electric vehicles so I choose eee as my B.Tech branch. In our department, we have knowledgeable professors and assistant professors. We have nearly 20 teaching staff for a total of 300 students. Every 4 months we have sem exams and they are tough to write as we know that EEE is the toughest branch in engineering, but if we prepare from day 1 it is easy to clear.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college students are doing several paid internships apart from studies, few are offered by the college and few are from online platforms, as I am a second student I don't have so much knowledge about internships.
Placement Experience :
Placements are started from 3-2 sem for regular students, and for IDP it is 5-1 sem..in our college TCS, Microsoft, IBM Wipro Google and so on companies visit for placements it is approximately 30 to 40 companies. For the last academic year, the highest package is 46.5 LPA for ECE IDP students and the average package is 8+ lpa. For last year 55% of secured placement as per the principal voice in the auditorium hall.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I already said the fee structure for a regular B.Tech is 50000 and for B.Tech+ MTech(integrated dual degree ) it is 1 lakh from this year. If we got 80 percent in ipe we are eligible for nsp scholarship provided by the central government. Campus placements are good in our college with an average of 8+ lakhs which is better than other colleges in Telangana.
Campus Life :
Our college will conduct an annual fest department wisely but for our department, it is namely Pragnya and for CSE it is a quest and for mech, it is sparks, etc.. it is conducted in the month of April. In our college, we have two libraries with huge collections of books and a digital library with ordinary computers. we have a big ground in our college and an indoor stadium for sports. our college gives primary priorities on extracurricular activities and clubs. We have a huge number of clubs in our college namely IEEE and wattguild, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
For the first-year students, we have a kinnara hostel with good facilities, for the second year, we have a manjeera hostel which is an old one. In our room, we have a total of 5 members and we don't have even WIFI in our hostel but in kinnera it is available. if I discuss meals it is good in the morning and afternoon but at night it is worth it and the quality is less. For every jntuian will get a seat in the hostel except local students. The mess bill is around 3k for every month which is less with the outside pg hostel there it is 5.5k..in our area, we have a huge no. of pg hostels within 100 meters of the college.
