Remarks :

As a question, the answer is yes I gave an entrance exam which was UPSEE, in which I opted for B.Tech Biotechnology and I scored 1765 rank in it. All age groups can opt for exam. The candidates should have passed intermediate with up board or any board with 45% marks and 40%for reserved categories. The application form is released in about April and the exam will be held in May. The exam is in pen and paper mode. The total mark is 600 mcqs and the exam will be of 3 hours. The application can be found on its official website i.e. uptac.admissions.nic.in. The exam conducting body is APJ Abdul Kalam University Lucknow. The application fee is 1300 for general and 650 for reserved ones. 21%reservation is offered in this exam. The courses offered by this exam are B. Tech, MCA, MBA, B. Pharm. I Guess no improvement is needed in this exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because this is a developing field here in India so we can learn a lot from it. Apart from my choice, the university stands first in BTech Biotechnology and here at UP there are only 2-3 government colleges for this course. The faculty here is very educated all Ph.D. scholars from reputed colleges. They are very determined for their work. Apart from the course subjects they even guide us for upcoming path in future. The subjects taught us are core biotech and also other branches of engineering because if any person develops any kinda interest in that subject he/she can build a career in that field. The classes are very regular starting from 10 am to 5 pm. The first half consists of classes and another half consists of the lab. The teaching method depends on the teacher basically nowadays maximum teach us on a smart board and sometimes green board. Each semester consists of three sessions, in which two are compulsory and the third is a makeup session to balance marks and semester exams.

Internships Opportunities :

College offers different opportunities for internships basically in the 6th semester for engineering students. Students have to visit industries and complete their one-month training. Seminars and minor and major projects are even done in the last two semesters.

Placement Experience :

Seventh-semester students are eligible for placement drives in engineering and others I don't know. Hitech and HCL etc type companies visit our university. Max package they offer is 5 lac per year. Max engineering students opt for gate exams for pg and even I opted for the same. Because the gate scorecard provides an opportunity to work in PSU and get work in good companies or get selected for postgraduation in any IIT or NIT.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees for my course were rupees 67250 when I joined the institution but now it is about 86000. Seriously saying doing engineering in such less amount from a state government university is bliss for students. The students here are even offered scholarships named up scholarships, may the student be of any course he or she can avail the scholarship, the limitation is that parents should possess a private job, not govt service. The scholarships help students a lot. University consists of training and placement cell which is always into placements for every course student. The college provides placement drives for almost every course in college and encourages students to participate in it And provides an opportunity to get selected by any company.

Campus Life :

Due to the pandemic, there was no tech fest organized by the university. Still, the campus life is very good at the campus. There is the availability of every book in the library related to the course or any genre. The classroom consists of everything needed, nowadays smart board is in trend and make life easy for any teacher. Students can participate in any sports event occurring in the university maybe it is interdepartmental or inter-college. The university provides 2 stadiums, indoor and outdoor.

A placement year can give students inspiration for final-year projects and dissertations. It can also help develop your soft skills, such as being able to work in a team and the ability to solve complex problems, which are all valuable assets for both your academic and professional career, as Jasmine experienced.

I chose this course because of its demand in civil sites like road construction and other building areas. Qualifications of teachers are a master's degree and ph.d. After every 21 days, sessional exams are held in the college.

From the 6th semester, students are applicable for campus placement. All big companies like Wipro, IBM, TCS, and many such companies come to our college and they also do mass recruitment. The highest package of last year was in amazon in AWS was around 30LPA. The placement percentage of students in CSE is around 95 percent. My plan after getting the degree is to take placement from college.

Placements are average in the college, only software-based and few electronics-based company approach. Some companies are TCS, Infosys, Adobe, ByJus, Trilogy, etc. The highest package on campus is 24 LPA and the average is 6 to 8 LPA. Almost all students who want placement, have it. I will try campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are better especially for Computer science students or students who have good command on programming (either you come from any branch) and its average is nearly 8LPA and maximum of 18 LPA . Some Core companies of Electrical and Civil also come and offers good package of approx 5 LPA. Since core branches placements are not so good so many students prefer to do programming and learn DSA if they want placements for college. And the students who are intested in core subjects prepare for GATE exam and go for core job or higher studies.
