Remarks :

The admission is through NEET - 2020 exam. I got 480 marks in the NEET exam and my rank was near 1,00,000 AIR. Since I'm from the SC category, I got admission to this college. The admission process took place in the college itself. Application forms were available on the official MCI website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it was my great grandfather dream that becomes a good doctor and serves the nation. The faculty: student ratio is nearly 7:100 Qualification of most of the faculty is post-graduation. The teaching method is really nice.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is provided at the end of 4.5 years to every student. The internship is compulsory. The stipend is 12,000 per month for every college in Uttar Pradesh. We get to learn a lot of medical practices during the internship.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for General category students are 30,000 per year and for SC and SC students 21,000 per year. We can avail benefits of scholarships based on academics and attendance in the previous year's exams. The name of the scholarship is the UP government scheme.

Campus Life :

There is no annual fest as such in this college. This is a very new college established in 2015. The last fest took place in 2021 in September on the occasion of Teacher's day. In the classroom, we have proper fans, centralized ACs which do not work, proper lights, Projector, a table, chairs, etc. There is only 1 playground which is for cricket, volleyball, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are nice. For the first year girl students, Separate bathrooms are provided in their respective rooms. The quality of meals is below average in the mess. It doesn't taste nice. I take tiffin service from outside.

Placement Experience:

After 4.5 years of MBBS course, internship follows for 1 year. The medical license is provided to the student by the Medical Council Committee of India (MCC). Now the student becomes a full-fledged doctor who can set up their own clinic or hospital anywhere all through India. Or may go to a government hospital as a resident doctor.

KGMU is one of the finest Medical universities in India. It often ranks among the top 10 as per the NIRF rankings. I choose MBBS at kgmu owing to its quality of education, and inspiring Alumni of KGMU many of whom are making KGMU proud at a global level. The faculty-student ratio is good. There are close to 15-20 faculties in all the major departments. All faculties are renowned and hold many degrees and fellowships. Classes are regularly held. Exams are timely conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the best places in India to study MBBS. The student-faculty ratio is more than required. All faculties here are graduated from top institutions and most of them are in fact alumni of KGMU itself. Their teaching method is also amazing. Course exams/class tests are of good difficulty level.

NMC-based Integrated (Horizontal and Vertical curriculum). The faculty load is quite decent. Most of the facilities have done their masters in the respective department whereas very few of them are Bachelors.
