The design college

Remarks :

10+2 Minimum 50% marks required in +2. You can get the application form physically from the campus as well as online also. It is 1000 Rs. only. I came to campus with my family to see the things n all No reservation benefits. No improvement is required.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as this course is very interesting and contains practical knowledge. I was very keen to visit construction sites and work as a professional there. The faculty-student ratio is equal, in this college, there are visiting faculty also who come to campus and share their knowledge and experience with us, which is very interesting and exploring to us and also beneficial for our career. All the teachers/faculty are well qualified and have much practical experience and knowledge also. They trained us in every possible manner and guide us so that we can manage the world load of industry. In their college, there are mid-termed end terms exams that are held after every 6 months. If you attend the lectures regularly then there is no difficulty to pass the exams, no bookish knowledge is provided here, teachers give all the practical knowledge and make us understood in that manner so we can write the exams by our understanding not by reading the books.

Internships Opportunities :

Live space, d décor, home lane, etc. our campus provides internships. Companies give both residential and commercial projects. They train us according to industrial requirements. This internship plays a very important role in our career

Placement Experience :

For campus placement, it would be after 5 semesters. Asian paints, D-decor, home lane, prospect design, and much more. This college has a huge variety and good opportunities for companies and stipends. It depends on the individual abilities and talent in them. Average pack in like 3-4 lac. 99% of students get placed here if any individual doesn't opt for higher studies afterward. I plan to work under a company and gain experience for 2-3 years then opt for my firm.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are 1,20,000 which is the most affordable as compared to others colleges in Delhi NCR. I felt this college is providing something huge at this fee. I would recommend you all must visit and take the opportunity. There are different stages of scholarships. After getting more than 70% in +2, there are 3 stages of scholarships like 10%, 25%, and 50%. Yes, you can get internships and placements from the college itself with a stipend depending on the individual performance and ability.

Campus Life :

We have our departmental fests like design santushti, dandiya fest, sports day, celebrity night, club activities within the class, design harvest activity, and much more. The college has optimum stock and a variety of books. There are Smartboards, blackboards, ACs and also drafting tables. There are sports days in which all the sports activities are available with proper conduction of events with prizes. There is the design harvest club, masks are a club, and road track club.

Interview Experience :

The topics were all about the industry itself. Questions were not from a book, rather it was all about understanding the individual. There is an MCQ test also which you have to pass. Firstly there would be an entrance test then PI, and after the result, you can get admission directly. You can talk to the faculty before the entrance, they will guide you and will give you an idea about the entrance, so you can prepare accordingly.

In the 4th semester, the college starts offering us the internship and by the 5th semester, all the students get placed. The college provides placements in quite reputation companies that are; livspace, homelane, hacker kitchen and so many are there. The packages are quite good in the companies. All the students of the college get placed every year and thus there are 100% of placements are provided by the college. My plan is to do a job and gain experience for some time in a reputation company and I want to run my own business in the interior only.
