Remarks :

No. There is no entrance exam conducted by the management. Based on the 12th grade marks only, the students get admission to their applied courses. The admission application is given by the aided and unaided office block.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am studying Master of Science in chemistry now. The faculties are well-trained professionals. They all are done ph.d of their specialised subjects. There are 2 semester were conducted on a year. Because of their teaching I choose this college. They have excellent laboratory facilities and they have hi-tech labs. They have uv,ir,sem etc.. type of instruments which is very useful if you had an idea to do ph.d in science.

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 5000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship are given to the students to do students to their project and stipend also provided. Based on the degree the stipend may vary. Not only students but also faculties also do their project. We have research lab block separately which we can do reasearches. Recently we do research using biopolymers which really gives us a thumbs up and it is good to our environment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are affordable. Because they want to give education to all categories people. And also they give government approved scholarship which help the students to do their higher studies. They also conducted campus interview and placement. Recently the college reaccredited by NAAC- National Assessment and Accreditation Council from B grade to A grade.

Campus Life :

It is a women's college. There is no problem inside the campus. The social life is absolutely healthy environment. There are so many clubs in our college eg: enviro club, IIC, IQPAC etc. The infrastructure is good. The clubs conducts lots of programs, competition and culturals. So, it is very joyful and healthy college life.

Interview Experience :

No there is no entrance or group discussion taken by the management. According to your 12th grade marks as well as UG grade they give the admission. There is no biased things is happening in the admission.

VIT as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Since I'm a first year my knowledge of placements and such is limited and not very accurate, I've tried my best. Students are eligible for placement in their final year. The opportunities for biotech in India are not very appealing so most pursue a Ph.D. after the course either in India or abroad. The average package afaik is 4L p/a and the highest package to date is 12L p/a for this course. My plan is to do a semester or project abroad after meeting my credits requirement by the 4th year and then moving on to a Ph.D.

Learn by doing mistakes

Placement Experience:

From 3 rd yr students become eligible for campus placement. ICON said bulk highering. Tcs the package is 7 LPA more than 60 percent of students can get into placements. I am looking for a placement drive for sure I will get placed in a good company
