Remarks :

To be eligible for the counselling candidates need to meet their cutoff requirements according to their respective branches. In my case I got 72 percentile in JEE main, then I went through BCECE counselling and easily secured a seat in the Electronics and communication branch of saharsa college of engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is regularly updated by the University which is Aryabhatt knowledge university. There are well-qualified teachers recruited through BPSC so yeah if you wanna study seriously then it's quite good for you. Some teachers are just love but the behaviour of some teachers is annoying too. So act intelligent. When it comes to the mid-term exam then the questions are coming from the same notebook which you prepared during class but remember midterm exam is the toughest exam here in this college. Y

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 7400 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no fee to pursue Btech degree in Bihar government college. The only fee you have to pay is a one-time registration fee, a yearly 2650 development fee and an examination fee of 3700 per semester. For SC/ST the examination fee is only 700 per semester. That too you can get through many Scholarship schemes like PMS if you belong to OBC or SC/ST background. There is a Bihar student credit card also available for every candidate, I guess.

Campus Life :

Campus life is quite good if you like sports you may play various sports every evening on the college ground. Or badminton can be played late at night inside the hostel There are two clubs one is Nirmana Club and another Is the Google Developer student club. I am the initiator of both clubs. As there are no any clubs before me. Nirmana was started by us in December 2021. We were a group of 3-4 people. The website of Nirmana Club is www.NirmanaClub.org. And the Google DSC is started by me in 2022, as I got selected as the first GDSC lead of my campus after an exam followed by an interview. Which is conducted by google developers every year to give a platform to rising talents.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are quite good enough. There are single and 3 seater rooms available. The fee for both types of rooms is the same. But the key thing is that you will get a single room in your last year that too if you have a good CGPA. Food quality is also good enough as if they won't provide good food with the mess contract will be terminated. Currently, the mess is being run by a student committee but soon it is going under the principal of the college. The hostel is affordable, the mess is also affordable. You are paying 1000 per month for the hostel and at the same time 3000 for the mess. But you are required to pay the mess and hostel fee for the whole semester at once.
