The eligibility criteria are 10+2 The admission is given on basis of overall merit. You can find the application form and details at the counter. Course Curriculum Overview :
As I feel the computer field is a professional field, they have the power to innovate more new technologies in the IT field hence I choose BCA- A professional carrier in the IT field. As I was from a science background so it was a difficult task for me to put steps into BCA but when I came in contact with our teachers they are helping me a lot to improve myself and to bring out the best in me. I am so grateful and blessed that I have these great gurus/teachers in my life. The class strength is a minimum of 60 students per batch which can help teachers to give personal attention to each student. Our faculties are very educated and experienced. The teachers are very polite, helpful and kind to students. Exams and practicals are done regularly. We have a total of 6 semesters with unit tests. Per year 2 semesters are done with practicals.
Internships Opportunities :
This college provides us with internship which is carried out by first-year and second-year students. The internship provides more knowledge to the students to start the best carrier in IT fields. It is more beneficial to us to grab more knowledge and experience through these internships.
Placement Experience :
This college provides 100% placement assistance to students. Great companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS provide us with placements. Obviously, the percentage and our knowledge should impress the companies so that they'll be more grateful to provide us with a good job. My plan after getting my degree completed is to go for my master's which is MCA which will be more beneficial for me to get a good job in the IT industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college also provides loans and scholarships for students. The fee structure for the first year in BCA is Rs 32,000. For second year it is around Rs 35,000. And for the last third year, it is around Rs 38,000. One thing I really like the most about this college is that they are really a helping hand by providing scholarships to the much needy students who have financial issues.
Campus Life :
Our college also conducts an intercollegiate fest like ZESTO/UTSAV which gives the opportunity to students to show up their hidden talents. Cash prizes and trophies are awarded to the winners. SMT. P. N. Doshi Women's college also has its Sports Academy in which interested students are trained by professional coaching and many of the students are reached the National level which is a very proud thing for our college. This college also has an NCC/NSS team which boosts the confidence level and leadership quality of students. Our BCA department also has an Infomaniac club in which the students themselves are the organisers for conducting functions/events which is very beneficial for the students to build a confidential personality. The classroom and libraries are always kept clean which provides positive vibes to the college. The cleaning staff members and peons are really appreciatable and hardworking towards their work.
