A brief introdution to AISSMS college of engineering, pune

Remarks :

Cut off for AISSMS college of engineering 2018-2019 (state common entrance exam test cell CAP round-III) general computer: 7144(25) general mechanical: 11372(113) general category people can avail of benefits of the EBC scheme and Panjabrao scene if they met eligibility criteria. the admission process is generic and simple. you have to pay some amount of total fees at the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

AISSMS is being for a great while in the industry, and it has great mechanical faculty and equipment. at least that is what I thought before taking admission, anyways that is true for about 70%. most of the faculty have doctorate degrees. but some subjects have less experienced teachers. few teachers are from IITs background. practical equipment is good but not all are in working condition. but overall teachers and equipment are decent.

Placement Experience :

from the 7th semester, companies start to enter the campus. Wipro, TATA, Reliance textile, KJEI, Mubea automation, godrej, Samson, fleet guard filter, siemens, bristlecone, mahindra logistics, etc, etc. companies arrived in 2022-2023. the highest placement so far as I am writing this review is about 6.5 LPA. avg is about 4.5-5 LPA. I guess about 30%-35% per cent of students will get placement. (a lot of students don't apply for higher education). I am gonna try for placements from campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total general category fee without any sort of concession is 146000 with the EBC scholarship fee is 76362. (which is my fee) every cast has different fees, but all have a lower fee that the open/general category. you can pay in instalments, but you may charge an extra fee of 500 per instalment. The late fee is 500.

Campus Life :

Shiwanjali (intra-college) and ashwamedh (inter-college) are two events every year around February end. The college has a good library you can get a lot of books for 15 days and after that, you have to renew them. The classroom has a projector, blackboard, good ventilation, fans light, etc. the college does all sports activities like cricket, chess, table tennis, tennis, etc. college also has a lot of SAE clubs like supra, mBAJA, eBAJA, go-kart, garudashw, etc along with NSS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

Basically, students are eligible for placement after 2nd year and on particular skills which the company needs. Almost students are placed on campus level placement. The highest package offered was 42 lakhs and bagged was 32 lakhs. Almost 85% are placed. Eligible candidates are always placed. My plan is to continue my higher studies with an MS degree.
