GCOERC NASHIK: HONEST REVIEW

Remarks :

The admission process was very smooth, as we have to apply for cap rounds through scores obtained in JEE MAINS and 12th percentage. The admission forms and other necessary documents can be found in the well-equipped admin office which will clear every doubt regarding admission. There is a tuition fee waiver scheme for eligible students which is very beneficial.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A Bachelor's of mechanical engineering course is very helpful for those who want to make their career in this core industry. I chose the course because of my interest in the automotive sector. The faculty-to-student ratio is 20 teachers in the department. Most of the faculties are masters and Ph.D. holders. The term exams were absolutely on time and it was easy to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Various companies like triad cranes, Innova rubbers, wns, etc. Offer internship opportunities. The roles were mainly trainee. The stipend ranged from approximately 3000/- Rs. Per month. Projects are evaluated by the head of the department and external faculties of the respective departments. The projects have to successfully demonstrate the mentioned outcomes like the multipurpose farming machine has to perform sowing, ploughing, pesticide spraying, etc.

Placement Experience :

College campus placements start in the 4th year starting the semester itself. Many companies from the city industrial corporation visit for recruitment like Innova rubber, Armstrong, Rishabh instruments, etc. The average package is around 4-5 LPA. The placement cell provides ample opportunity to every student even after they are unplaced after passing out.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is different for different categories of students. There are scholarship facilities available known as tuition fee waiver schemes. The institute is always on the front foot in case of providing financial assistance. There are part-time jobs available on campus with a stipend for needy students.

Campus Life :

All the departments arrange yearly fairs and fests in college. The one arranged by the mechanical department is MESA CHECK MECH. The library is absolutely well equipped along with ample seating space and air conditioning. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and computers. Sports events are also arranged between inter-college teams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

The exams were conducted in intervals and it was too strict this thing I liked about our college. The exams were conducted in a well-organized manner. The faculty members are also good in nature and teaching but some teachers are not that much well.
