Remarks :
The eligibility of the course I took is BSc in chemistry as a compulsory subject and the cut-off depends on how many persons applied to the course and minimum cut-off is 75% on Tumkur university's official web page you will find a link to apply. Yes, reservations there of all types such as kannada medium, NCC, rural candidate etc.., Yes there is a cloud during the admission time if possible counselling is to held in thier own Departments
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because there are a lot of opportunities for freshers to get jobs immediately after completing the course. There are 70 students in the class and the teacher are well and good and the way of teaching is also good. Our teachers are well qualified as there are all cleared the UGC exams as well as PhD and M Phill. The term exam will be held twice per year it is not so difficult.
Placement Experience :
Students who are in the 4th semester or in their final year will eligible for campus placements. Anthem bioscience, reddy's laboratory, and other companies will visit every year. And they will offer 3lakh to 6lakh salaries for I think the highest package is 5lakh that is anthem is offered for students. Around 15% of students are getting placements. My plan is to go to work in the company as a research fellow.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is not so much large it is about 16300 and students also scholarships from the state government and it is not expensive to study. All students get scholarship around 70% of their paid fee and exam fee is also not expensive.
Campus Life :
Recently in our department, our seniors have arranged the fresher's party itis so amazing and we also give send off party every year that is followed by our seniors. The library is also good there are a lot of books which we needed. Mentors in our class are also good because they will interact with us and as well as teachers to guide us. Every semester there will be an extracurricular activity for students like visiting companies and schools. There are such groups and a web page is created by students.
Hostel Facilities :
In our hostel there will be different food is give and it is hygienic and they provide 4 eggs per week as day after day and rooms are good. There is a menu in our hostel the food makers follow According to the menu for preparing food. We have to apply for applications online and there will be counselling for allotment of the hostel.
