Remarks :
Candidate should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only). Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to pursue a career in IT because I have always been fascinated by technology and how it can be used to solve complex problems. I was drawn to the IT field because it offers a variety of career paths and opportunities for innovation. A brief about faculty: Student ratio: The faculty-to-student ratio at KGCE College is not so good. There were a sufficient number of qualified faculty members to provide personalized attention to students. The small class sizes also allowed for more interaction between students and faculty. Qualification of faculty and teaching method: The faculty at KGCE College was highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They were always available to help students with coursework and were approachable outside of class as well. The term exams at XYZ College were always administered on time and were a fair representation of the material covered in class. Internships Opportunities :
There are paid internship they provide us. Companies are not so good means mostly in start-up companies students get palced. No stipend. Overall it's a good college for those who can't get there choice of colleges.
Placement Experience :
College gives reference to do internship on fellow companies which are not so much good.They provide us pool campus on 7 sem onwards in which mostly orther colleges students get selected only 2-3 get selected from our college.Overall Campus is not so good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Compared to other colleges our college fees are less but not all students have possible to pay that amount of fees. The current year fee was 92000 and for 1st-year fees are 91000 and for SC/ST there are only 7739 fees. There were many students have the family income they filled out their government ebc form which is a freeship. Most of the students get their half of their fees returned after approval of EBC.
Campus Life :
The campus is well-maintained and has a modern infrastructure. The classrooms are well-equipped with the latest technology, and the labs are spacious and well-stocked. The library is also an excellent resource for students, with a wide range of books, journals, and online databases. There is an NSS (National Service Scheme) In which students get the opportunity to become social workers.
