Remarks :
To get admission to Integrated M.Sc. B.Ed you have to have a bachelor's degree in the respective Subject with a minimum of 60% aggregate and 55% for reserved students. If you are eligible then you can give an entrance exam called CUET-PG. There is an official website www.cuet.nta.nic.in where you can find all the information including the application form and important dates. To get admission to any central university CUET is mandatory. According to my CUET-PG 2020 knowledge, there is fewer application fee for female candidates. and you will get three university preferences If you want to sit in more university counselling then you have to pay approx 200 Rupees per university. Although there are different fees for different categories. In my class i.e. Int. M.Sc.B.Ed. (Mathematics) 2020 Batch there are 13 UR, 7 OBC, 3 EWS, 2 ST, 4 SC and 1 PWD. The improvement I want to see in the admission process is that it has to be fully online as they did in the covid situation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As far as I know, Central University of Rajasthan is the only University that is offering B.Ed. with master's. So to reduce 1 year to B.Ed. I chose Integrated M.Sc. B.Ed. 3-year course. In the Education department, there has a 1:36 faculty-student Ratio. All faculties are highly qualified and well-experienced. Semester Exams are not that much hard because faculties teach so well. but even after this 1-2 students always fail.
Placement Experience :
It depends on the company profile if any student from any semester year is eligible to sit in placement then the university has not had any issue. There has job fair recently, many jobs were offered to many students. There was vikalp foundation 2.14 LPA, Azim Premji Foundation 4LPA, TCS 7.5 LPA and many companies come. In the education department, most of the students get teaching jobs offered by the government. For other departments, there are fewer placements but more placements in professional courses. They get a minimum of 6-7LPA. I am searching for Job, I am already selected by viklap foundation, and interviewed by azim premji foundation. If I am selected then I take it otherwise I have qualified for REET and CTET and planning to get govt or other jobs in education. In Present, I am preparing for MPSET, RJSET and NET so that I can be an assistant Professor.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As my course is non-professional hence there is no scholarship for students who are enrolled in Int. M. Sc. B.Ed. Even if you belong to any category, region etc. But if you belong to the PWD category then you will get scholarship definitely.
Campus Life :
There are many activities and festivals going through the year. Each department will organize a fest which represents their department for Example recently (Feb 2023) "Entrepreneur in Action" was 3 days Festival. 3 march is always celebrated as the foundation day of CURaj. There is a central library in Curaj which is known as the biggest library in Rajasthan. There are 2-3 magazines printed named Astitva, Udaan and Nav Drishti (Hindi Magzine). there are Projectors in every classroom. 2 Smart high-tech Classes and a High tech Auditorium in each department. There are many social clubs for dance, drama, music, book, and environment. There is an official account of curaj on Instagram, twitter and Facebook. There is an unofficial account (run by students) on Instagram named Curaj_tak (shhh which will give you inside news)
Hostel Facilities :
There are 2 types of room. one is 3 seater and other is 4 seater. There are 4 hostels for girls and 4 hostel for boys. In accommodation, study Table, Bed, Mattress and a chair, charging socketis given for individual. but tubelights and fan is sharing. For girls, there are individual mess in each hostel but for boys,there is only 1 mess called mega mess. Recently, Quality of food improved slightly. Mess fees is 15000 Rupees per semester and refundable when you go gome. There is only offline application acceptable for hostel accommodation. and hostel fees are same for all rooms. As CUR is 85Km far from Jaipur and 45km far from ajmer so There is no walking distance rooms availabe. If you really want to stay out of campus then there is a town named kishangarh which is 25km far from university and there is bus facility from kishangarh to university as well which runs all working days. As CURaj Situated in rural area and jungle hence there are many monkeies, insects and snakes spot usually.
