Remarks :
To get into any college affiliated with IP University, you first need to clear the IPU CET entrance exam and then you can choose the college according to the rank that you scored in this particular entrance exam. You can apply for the CET exam on the ipu.ac.in website by entering your basic details and paying the application fees. (usually 1000 INR/1200 INR) Cut-offs are released after a few months of the exam and each college has its own rank range. Trinity institute of professional studies usually has a rank range of 5000-10000 for BBA students which means that scoring a rank of this range or better shall make you eligible for getting into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My reason for choosing BBA was that I want to do a start-up in future and BBA provides the required business knowledge and industry exposure which will help me to move forward with my plan. The faculty in this college is really good, disciplined and knowledgeable. You can tell by the quality of teaching that they are highly qualified for their posts. Internal exams at the college are usually not that difficult to pass and even if you have taken classes regularly then even without studying you can clear the exams easily.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are offered by our college and many reputed companies like Swiggy and Byjus have offered intern roles to students with attractive stipends. Internship fairs are also held at least once a year.
Placement Experience :
Many reputed companies like HDFC bank, lenskart etc have been to our college in placement drives and also many students have been offered jobs by these companies. I think once you cross the 4th semester, you get eligible to participate in the placement drives that are conducted on a regular basis. The highest package offered in BBA was 9L per annum and the lowest that I am aware of was 2L per annum. I personally plan to pursue MBA after completing my BBA so I do not care much about the placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I do not know about the financial assistance or scholarship opportunities in detail but I do know that our college highly supports this. Some of my friends have taken admitted under the EWS scheme and paying much lower fees than regular students. For general students, the fees are around 1,08,090 - 1,45,000/year depending upon the course.
Campus Life :
All classrooms, basements, and labs are fully AC and lifts are also there. The infrastructure is good, although I should say that our college is a little bit small or congested. Many sports like cricket, football, tugbof war are supprted by our college and inter-college competitions are held frequently. If we talk about fests, then only one fest i.e Anugoonj is conducted by the university (not college) on an yearly basis and it is seriously a bash.
