Remarks :

For the admission process, we gave neet ug. We have to fill out the application form 1-2 months before the exam. The application form is available on the nta website ntaneet.in. The application form fee is 2000 for the general category and 1500 for obc sc st.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My passion towards it inspires me to choose this course. A good ratio is there and teachers (faculties) are very passionate towards the study and students. Almost every faculty are a doctor. Terms and proff were timely and the paper was difficult to pass if you are not studying Siniciorly. You have to study before the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

After 4 and half years of MBBS, we have to do an internship. During internships, we have to do duty in the hospital and also some other work. Stipend is not according to the workload and also not good at this college according to the knowledge which I heard till now. It is only about 10k per month. And the time for duty is countless.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is affordable and has no hike in fee. Other than fee the extra charge also we have to spend on the cost of the study. The scholarship is available for deserving students through the state government. By the name of up. Scholarship program.

Campus Life :

The annual festival is 'Tarang'. Conducted in the month of December for 3 days. A sports week was also organized by the name of 'adrenaline in the month of October and November. A central Library is present in the college. Book for students available by the 2nd year onwards. But not for 1st-year students.

Hostel Facilities :

All basic facilities are available for us in the hostel and room. Like washroom, bathroom, fan, geyser etc. Meal qualities are good. We have been provided with a healthy diet with fruits, salad, etc. The registration process is easy and completed in 1day. And is affordable to almost every student who comes there for that.

Placement Experience:

After 4.5 years of MBBS course, internship follows for 1 year. The medical license is provided to the student by the Medical Council Committee of India (MCC). Now the student becomes a full-fledged doctor who can set up their own clinic or hospital anywhere all through India. Or may go to a government hospital as a resident doctor.

KGMU is one of the finest Medical universities in India. It often ranks among the top 10 as per the NIRF rankings. I choose MBBS at kgmu owing to its quality of education, and inspiring Alumni of KGMU many of whom are making KGMU proud at a global level. The faculty-student ratio is good. There are close to 15-20 faculties in all the major departments. All faculties are renowned and hold many degrees and fellowships. Classes are regularly held. Exams are timely conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the best places in India to study MBBS. The student-faculty ratio is more than required. All faculties here are graduated from top institutions and most of them are in fact alumni of KGMU itself. Their teaching method is also amazing. Course exams/class tests are of good difficulty level.

NMC-based Integrated (Horizontal and Vertical curriculum). The faculty load is quite decent. Most of the facilities have done their masters in the respective department whereas very few of them are Bachelors.
