Remarks :
I got admission through the NEET UG examination. Eligibility of getting into MBBS is clearing NEET and 12th pass out. The application form is available every year on the NTA website in form of NEET UG, the application fee is around 800 Indian rupees and the form is usually filled in Dec to Jan month. The benefit of the reservation is that you have to pay lower examination fees and get selected at lower ranks too. The admission process was very smooth and in my case, it took around 3 hours only, and the staff was very corporating.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had chosen the course as I always wanted to be a doctor and NEET UG provides the opportunity. The faculty-student ratio is good, the student strength is around 200 and faculty are around 7 to 8 in every department and can be more in clinical departments. All faculty members are doctors and postgraduates and their teaching method is based on modern classes based on smart boards which are very interactive. The term exams are conducted on time and there is a total of 3 internal exams and one professional exam in between various SGT is also conducted. If you seriously study for exams then there is no way you will fail.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the MBBS course are around 36000 for Unreserved and 27000 for reserved students per year and it excludes the mess charges which are around 3000 per month. The UP Government provides scholarships to students and it ranges from 20000 to 30000. The internship is done at end of MBBS and is usually 12500 per month
Campus Life :
The annual fest of MLNMC is called EUPHORIA and is conducted every year in December. The fest is specifically dedicated to intern batch students and involves the whole college including professors too. The classrooms are good but not the best, and are furnished with AC too. In Euphoria, a lot of cultural and sports activities are conducted like cricket football volleyball etc and indoor sports too like chess, table tennis etc are conducted.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel of our college is divided into 5 wings. The 1st 2nd 3rd wings are for the senior batches and 4th wing of for the junior batch and the 5th wing is specifically for the newest batch of the college means 1st-year students. The 5th wing, 3rd wing and 4th wing is provided with separate mess facilities but the students of the 1st and 2nd wing have a total of 5 mess options, and yes they have a lot of choices about what to eat or not. The average mess cost ranges from 3000 to 3500 per month excluding breakfast. The hostel fee is 6000 per annum and the rooms are provided with 1 bed, 1 table, 1 chair, 1 mattress and an almirah.
