Remarks :
The only eligibility of the course is that the candidate should have a minimum of 50% in 12th. Candidates can either apply through their website or in-campus forms are also available. Candidates can get the information regarding application dates and fees on the maism website but I prefer to call the college to get real-time information.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My reason to pursue BCA is the potential for career opportunities. The tech industry is constantly evolving, and there is a high demand for skilled professionals who can design and develop software, manage databases, and create web applications. With a BCA degree, you can pursue a range of careers in fields such as software development, information technology, and web design. The student-to-faculty ratio for BCA in MAISM was 20:1. You will not get the quality faculties from Premier institutions but still, I can say that their teaching method was good. Term exams for BCA in this college were conducted yearly. And if a candidate is attending all the classes then he/she can easily pass the exam.
Placement Experience :
Well, to be honest, I have to say that my college doesn't offer many placement opportunities. The package they offer is around 4 lakhs which is not much, and only a limited number of companies come to the campus for recruitment. Most of the batch graduates are without any placement offers. Students who wish to pursue a job have to find opportunities or internships on their own. Sometimes faculties also help students to get a job. As per my observation, most of the students opt for higher education after graduation. However, I do believe that the absence of campus placements doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of education or employability of the students. It's just that students have to rely on their efforts to secure job opportunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are reasonable in this college. The total cost to study BCA is around 2 lakhs for 3 years. This college doesn't provide hostel facilities. MAISM doesn't provide any scholarships. Placement records are not good in this college.
Campus Life :
In my experience, the college campus was small and limited in terms of facilities and extracurricular activities. While there was a cafeteria and a badminton court available for recreational purposes, there were no formal clubs or social groups in that students could participate. However, the availability of the library was a positive aspect as it provided access to resources and materials for research and learning. The classrooms were basic but equipped with projectors in the computer labs.
