Remarks :

The admission was on the basis of marks scored in an entrance test called NEET-UG and on the basis of merit and cutoff the students can avail admission in any dental and medical college recognised under MCI. The admission process under state counselling is held online with choice filling and then a college is allotted to which the students have to first report to counselling held at SMS, jaipur for Rajasthan state counselling with a Bonafide and other documents required and with self-attached cheque according to fees slab. The student has to report to the college offline also once the process at the sms is confirmed. However, the Rajasthan counselling process is very tedious and difficult to understand for young students and parents. This provides a scope for improvement

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exams were held on an internal and preuniversity university basis in which the students need to secure at least 50% in both practical and theory. The internals is held every 2-3 months with the University exam held at the end of sessions. The student in order to pass the exam must be well versed in the basics of the subject and must possess analytical and HOTS for brain testing questions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The study cost is 3 lakh per annum and 1 lakh hostel and mess fees. I don't have any scholarships or other financial assistance. My parents provide me with all the expenses that occur during my 5-year course, there are no jobs on campus and no stipend is provided for internship in actuality

Campus Life :

There is a cultural programme at a particular time of year where students across all year are divided into various groups that compete with each other in various cultural and sports activities, the competition is very healthy and enjoyable in which the students get to know their hidden talents and get a platform to showcase their talent and eliminate stage fear. Many other religious events and pooja are held during Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi

Hostel Facilities :

We have a within the campus hostel and there is a canteen with a fairly good ambience. The songs are played in the background with good lighting that lifts up the environment and provides a good vibe after a tiring long day at work

Placement Experience:

After the final year, students become eligible for placements. BDS is a medical profession so clinical research and practice can be pursued and can go for higher education after clearing neet MDS papers. On average, we can earn 50000 monthly after BDS. I want to pursue my education and do MDS.

I got qualify for the neet ug and got admission to the bds course our faculty are very good at teaching and have MDS degree assessment exams that are frequently conducted in college and we have to pass it with good numbers.

Placement Experience:

Once you complete the degree you are free to practice in any dental clinic and also there are government jobs. You can also set up your dental clinic or you can join any other clinic. Also, you can do dental visits.

The student-faculty ratio is reasonable and I am highly satisfied with the course. Teachers are highly qualified and are very supportive. Term exams are held on an annual basis and mid-semester exams are conducted every quarter. There are vivas now and then.
