Most honest review, which will you get here.

Remarks :

Admission process is based on JEE MAINS rank and college is allotted through jossa counselling. You have to give jee mains exam which is held by NTA every year in two sessions first session in January and the second session in April. You can apply application form on the official site of jee mains and the application fees are Rs. 1000 for Male candidates of unreserved/Gen-EWS/OBC category, Rs.800 for female candidates of Unreserved/Gen-EWS/OBC category Rs.500 for SC/ST/Transgender category candidates. I am from the SC category so my cutoff was lower than the general category. My cut-off rank was sc category rank 2392. NIT PATNA has 50% home state reservation and I am from Bihar so I got state reservation benefits. All the admission process is online so there are no such problems to visit the college for admission frequently.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose computer science and engineering because my interest is towards technology and enjoy solving coding problems. The faculty-student ratio is 1:75 .All the faculty are PhD holders and most of the teachers teach is very well. In one year there is two end-semester exams, two mid-semester exams and end sem exam held in six months and mid sem in there months gap. If you listen to the class and what the teacher is teaching and makes notes of it you can pass the exam easily many students study two weeks before the exam and they also pass the exam easily.

Internships Opportunities :

For internship companies visited to give internship is amazon, google, texas instrument, Mercedes, jio, these companies give stipend of about Rs.46000 per month. Companies test coding skills and projects, which students had made, and then accordingly they select interns.

Placement Experience :

From the sixth semester, students are eligible for internship and students can sit for the campus in their fourth year. For internship and placement, many companies visited our campus like amazon, google, reliance jio, Mercedes, CRED, BPCL, godrej, federal bank, Infosys, texas instrument, oracle, Samsung, Hyundai, tcs and many startups. For the session 2019-23,636 were registered for placement and all were placed and they have offered 717 jobs. The highest package is 52 LPA and the average is 14.14 LPA this year. percentage placement is 100%. My plan after getting my degree is to sit in campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the general category, the fee at the time of admission is Rs.63700 and the Odd semester fee is Rs.67600 & Even semester fee is Rs.67000. SC/ST students get a 100% tuition fee waiver. Students can apply for various state-level government scholarships and one of the most common scholarships students get here is through the national scholarship portal.

Campus Life :

Campus life is fine here there are many clubs in different areas and incubation centers. The techno-Culture fest of NIT PATNA is corona and Melange which is held in January every year many activities are organized. Hackslash and gdsc is a tech club of NIT PATNA, a month coding competition is organized and a learning session is taken by seniors and given guidelines. There is a dance club, photography club, ecell and many more clubs. the classroom is good, some of the classrooms have also ac. In sports, many sports-related events are organized frequently and inter-NIT sports are also organized.
