Remarks :
I was admitted in computer science branch with rank of 18k and opening rank was about 15k and closing about 28k for general category. You can find the application form on the hbtu.ac.in 2500 was the registration fee and dates are announced on official sites. The admission process was very easy one also there were flexibility in documents submission like medical , gap , etc you can give the after sometime also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course obviously because of my interest in it and its very large and wide scope The faculty members were also good like you expect from a college as usual but max faculty were ok. Faculties there were some PhD holders mtech etc and some guest faculty pursuing their PhD. There were 2 mid sem exams of 15 marks and one end sem of 50 marks and 20 marks was of attendance and others It is actually easy to pass the exam also the teachers tell you some imp topics also so yeah
Internships Opportunities :
In our university, The internship opportunity is very good. You get opportunities from big companies like amazon Microsoft LinkedIn etc Here the highest stipend was of 1lakh per month last year So can do an internship in the summer also
Placement Experience :
From 3rd year students are eligible for college placement The placement here is good actually but this year in cse placement was not up to the mark. Placement in other branches was decent. The highest package from cse in 2022 was 44.5 and the college avg was 11 actually. Companies like amazon Microsoft paytm Infosys visit the campus. I will go for placement after my degree. Almost 90 to 95 perc students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Out of 135000, 75000 is the tuition fee and others are university charges. You can get a Fee waiver seat if your rank is good. In this, your tuition fee for 4 years is waived. You can get a siemens scholarship in which you get a full 135000 waiver for 4 years and 30k every year and a laptop. You can get a UP scholarship also.
Campus Life :
Here the fest is good you know we had Yasser Desai in the room and Ragini band. This year we will have Rahul Jain and Darshan Raval Here is the library but one this the books are quite old and you will not find python books. You can get these books on your phone through the e-portal also. Also, the college infrastructure is ok. You can join the sports club in the college football volleyball badminton cricket etc There are lots of clubs actually technical photography hobbies literary aeroclub auto rob nss etc these are run by students
Hostel Facilities :
There are just basic facilities like fan light table chair almirah. The mess food is ok but sometime not so good You just have to pay a fee of the hostel and mess and yeah you got the room The mess is run and ruined by the students only. The hostel for boys is far away from the college You need a mode of transportation the rickshaws are there max time.
