This college is not a great option if you are joining it with a hope of getting placed.

Remarks :

The admission process for IEHE is not that tough, it is based on the percentage which you got in the 12th Board. The cut-off for BSC and BA generally varies between 80-90 but for BCom, it is slightly higher around 92. The application form is provided on the college portal itself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose BSC computer science as it is the most emerging course and provides many opportunities in the IT sector after graduation. The teacher-to-student ratio of IEHE is 1:35 i.e. there are 35 students per teacher. Some faculties in this college are very experienced and hold great knowledge of their subject. Two types of exams are conducted in this college, one is an internal assessment and the other is the main exam. The final result includes the score of both the exams and the level of the exams being moderate.

Placement Experience :

The placement system of this college is not proper. The percentage of students that are placed every year in this college is less. Companies like Netlink, etc. Students in their final year are eligible for placements. The highest package was around 8 LPA which was before Covid and the average package is about 3 LPA. I am preparing for government exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of study in this college is affordable and the college provides scholarships that are run by the government like Medhavi Yojna(MMVY) and other national scholarships. One should not enter this college with the hope of getting placed from here as the placement structure is not that good and very small-level companies come here for recruitment.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus is not that happening. Tarang is the name of the annual festival that is conducted every year. It's a three days event and the last day is celebrated as the 'Traditional Day'. Apart from this, there aren't many things that happen in the college. There are some clubs like NSS that you can join if you want to make your college life more exciting, NSS offers you a lot and is a whole personality-changing thing that helps you develop yourself through social services and it also includes all the cultural activities like dancing, acting, singing, etc. The library facility is quite good. It is very regular and all the functions of the library are carried out very systemically.
