Internships Opportunities At Chitkara University

Remarks :

No there was no entrance exam. Only eligibility is a minimum of 65% in 12th Class Boards Exams. Application forms can be found on their official website. The admission process was smooth, also the college is very Strict in its Rules and regulations.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in Computer science, so I choose this Course. The faculty is very nice and humble. Many Faculty are like friends with the Students. Teachers have a nice bond with Students which helps them in their studies and in extra curriculum too. The teachers are very Qualified. Most teachers here are Ph.D. End Term Exam happens at the semester's end. after 5-6 months. And in between some Sessional Exams do occur along with some labs-based Practical exams. The difficulty level of the exam is between easy to moderate. Not at all hard.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 164000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered to students for 5 semesters and obliviously in 6th semester. Many Companies provide internships like Justpay, Bajaj Finance, Capgemini, etc. Students need to be Skilled enough to get accepted for Internships. Full Stack Projects would be a very great option if any student has, also nice ranking in CodeChef or Codeforces, or any other Coding Platform.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th Semester Campus Placement is provided to Students by Chitkara University. Many Companies visit the campus. There is no such count. Like Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Bajaj Finance, Juspay, HDFC, and many more. The highest package was 55Lakhs offered by Adobe and one student got a 1.11 crore package for off-Campus Placement. The average package for CSE is 4-5 Lakhs. Chitkara University claims 100% Placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Each year academic fees get hiked by 5000-10000 rupees. Also, Each year Hostel charges increase which includes mess and laundry too. No Scholarship at Chitkara University. There is no such option available for students to give exams and get scholarships.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is Good. Many hackathons usually happen on campus. There is the Rang-raiz Annual Fest of Chitkara University. The biggest fest of Chitkara University. The library has tons of books. Anybody can access it easily and also can get issued just by verifying the University id Card of the Student. Many Social groups are run by students like bits&Bytes, Codechefchapter, E-cell groups, CSS2(Dance Club), and SAREGAMA(Music Club). Many Startups are also successful by students from Chitkara University.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are Excellent. 4 bedroom, 3 bed room, 2 bedroom, single bedroom, with ac without ac, with Cooler all, are available in the hostel. Also Iron, microwave oven, induction, and Table Tennis are available to students in the hostel. Mess Food Quality is Average. But as a wide variety in the menu. The registration process for a hostel is Though the student portal given by University itself.
