My experience in RJIT

Remarks :

Admission to RJIT is open for all Indian on their website www.rjit.ac.in. Students who have given jee main can apply and 12 pass-out candidates too. There is admission via diploma also but from 2nd year. As per my course like Mechanical Engineering there is 60 seat available for a candidate but 30 is for central government Servant employees like (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ARMY etc) wards.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took mechanical engineering because I wanted to, with no pressure from my parents but as they saying me to take CS /IT but I love to be a mechanical engineer so I choose. I am son CISF official so I am one of the 5 guys on the CAPF list as per admission criteria. The faculty was good, as they are much more experienced. I think this is after the results of the pandemic that online study makes a huge gap between teachers and students. Faculty Student ratio is 12:64 There are two mid-semester exams conducted by the college and one end-semester exam conducted by RGPV for each semester.

Placement Experience :

Placement in RJIT is better for CS/IT branch for a core branch like a mech, Auto few companies like TVs, edag comes but their packages were not good as provided by CS/IT companies. So many students learned about coding and web designing over 2nd year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per semester for MP /CAPF/ All in India quota candidate fees is 42300, forwards BSF official come in ORs fees is 37000. Their some special quota for MP candidates if want to know more about that go visit www.rjit.ac.in. The scholarship is only for OBC/SC/ST from the state government, you can apply if you come from this caste, for General candidates no scholarship is provided. Wards of Central Government employees can Apply for NSP, Central Government. You may try for 1 year if didn't receive a try in 2nd year

Campus Life :

My campus is quite good. Lots of events are held every year. Fresher's day and farewell are organised well and students enjoy a lot. A library filled with the latest edition of books related to the course and newspaper, journals etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Both hostel and outside rented house were good ,but for 1st year students it is better to stay inside in hostel because RJIT Comes in tekanpur a rular area were power cut is often seen , sometimes it is for many hours. And water issues also , supply water not good for drinking purposes so you have too buy from Ravi bhaiya . But in hostel leaving food stuf rest is good ,for 1st year. In my time hostel mess food was not that good but currently the tender has been change so we hope for good better best . Registration for hostel room is provided on the day of admission in college. Outside for single person ?1500 -2000 monthly ,room will nice but search for peace area,as local are not good as good you are.

Placement Experience:

Our college placements record is quite excellent, but core companies are lesser placement records. From the 5th-6th semester, companies came for the placements and some companies provide internships and training for the selected students for that company. Above 6.0 CGPA of students are getting placements. For Now, My plan is to be placed in a very reputed company with a very good package for earning and then moving ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview:

While we are in the line to select our branches. When your turn comes you will come to know which branches are left open for you. You can select one branch from the left branches. Each subject has a teacher for it. You will get attendance for each class and will be shown on the Campus portal that each student has their own ID. Teachers are well qualified in terms of degree. The teaching method is also good. You will get to give 2 midterm exams in a gap of a few months before the End term exam.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Every year placement record of MITs is improving, last year highest package of 1cr is availed by a student however it was off campus. But the average package was also 6 cr which is far better than other colleges in MP if you do not include IIT, NITs, and IIITs. Last year a total of 50 companies visited, and a total of 940 offers were made. about 70% of students are getting placement in MITS. My plan is open a startup after getting a degree with my colleagues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
