Remarks :
MIT has it's own exam, MEET for admission, but JEET/CET was also an option for enrollment of students for engineering branches. Our exam was online-offcampus, but now onwards it would be online-oncampus. Applications for MEET generally starts around april end or May first week and also the exam would be before CET Application can be done via MIT's own website and fees are minimal around 1500-2000
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted for CSE because of the trends of computer science and intrest in AI & Machine Learning. Student to teacher ratio is around 1:75. Teachers are well educated and highly qualified, Teaching method varies as some like to teach from PDFs ,while others go with the standard way of writing on board. Pattern for engineering is 2 Semesters/year with two exams per Sem 1.) Mid-Term - MCQ based exam with Moderate difficulty 2.) End-Term - Theory Exam also Moderate difficulty
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are also campus ready, from free to paid. Companies like Nvidia, amazon, and TCS offer internships to students some companies also offer paid internships with stipends of around 50k. Internships are totally based on merit
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placements from the 2nd sem for the 3rd Year Highest package offered was of 44 lakhs and the average package is around 4 lakhs Generally, 95% of students who sit fo campus placement get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are on the higher side. CSE is generally around 2.75 to 3.25 lakhs There are scholarships that are totally based on JEET/CET percentile. 95 percentile and above get fees waived and the 99 percentile gets 50% off on fees
Campus Life :
There are multiple fest & Cultural events going on throughout the year, some of them are AROHAN etc. Although books are generally not needed because all studies are done through pdfs but those who need them can get all books from the library. Extracurricular activities like various clubs are run by students like innovation hub, google developer club etc
