Remarks :
The college does not have any particular eligibility requirements it has a merit-based system for admission. The application form and dates can be seen through the college website and the registration fee are just 50 rupees while the admission fee is about 1700 for the first sem, when added with the exam fees for the first and second semesters it adds up to 3000-3500 rupees. There are seats reserved for different categories the minimum percentage required depends upon your category. The admission process is kind of slow and you need to keep track of the merit list through the college website or keep in contact with a senior for all updates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is simple, cheap, and widely known so it is the second choice for most science students that was the same with me too. The college has decent personnel but the students are a lot more compared to the teachers. The faculties are good. The semester exams are held every six months and the internal is held one month before the external exams. The exams are easy as you get two sections in the paper with each containing 8 questions from which you need to choose four from each section. You can pass the exams even if you study 2 days just before the exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The best thing about this college is its fee structure i.e. all the courses are cheap and affordable to everyone with no additional cost. It doesn't even matter if you don't buy the books. There are no direct scholarships provided by the college and if you want one then you need to apply for one separately.
Campus Life :
There is no fest organized by the college. The fresher's and farewell parties are organized by the students themselves and the college is not involved in any such activities. There are a lot of books available in the library but none from its own University i.e. Sri Dev Suman University. You can choose 2 books from the library for your study and you need to return them at the end of the semester. The classroom is ok but if all the students went to college on the same day then I doubt that the class is big enough to accommodate them all. Sports activities are organized from time to time by the college. Some WhatsApp groups are run by students for providing information to new students.
