Remarks :

At first, the candidates should have qualified for the intermediate examinations with above 45%. And for the reserved candidates should have qualified with above 40% is the minimum requirement for seat allotment in Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology and should have secured a rank at the common entrance test. And also the candidates must be qualified for the AP EAMCET examination for getting a scholarship. Thereafter eligible candidates, who qualified for AP EAMCET will have to apply for the counseling of AP EAMCET with college code "GIER" and choose their preferred branch according to their EAMCET rank on their official website. After that, the allotted candidates will have to report to the GIET for document verification. And there is an application fee of 1000/- is no need to pay instantly but it will be added to the college fee. The benefits of reserved people no so vary but their intermediate percentage is 40% above to get allotment whereas general candidates should have above 45%.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Department of ECE offers you complete freedom to switch between the software industry and the hardware industry. This is the reason why most companies prefer ECE engineers when compared to others. And faculty of GIET is quite good with qualifications of MTech, Ph.D., and above 10 years experience and also specialized in VLSI Design, wireless and mobile communication, embedded systems, digital electronics, etc., With great teaching skills that everyone can easily understand. When about term exams, each semester has two descriptive mid-exams and an objective mid-examination. well, the difficulty of term exams is moderate and it completely depends on student activity.

Internships Opportunities :

Students of GIET are encouraged to take 30 days of internship training in specific industries to gain hands-on experience during summer break after 2nd and 3rd year. A student can undergo one-month training at another institution. Doing consultancy or research project work of GIET as an assistant.

Placement Experience :

From the 3rd year, the students are eligible for campus placements. Top companies are TCS, Infosys, IBM, etc., The highest salary package offered is 18LPA and the lowest package is 3LPA and the average is 6LPA. About 30 to 40% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure of GIET, for B.E/B.Tech ECE candidates INR 2.35L ( for 4 years). The state and central governments offer scholarships to help students pursue engineering. So every candidate is eligible for a scholarship except the management quota. With the help of scholarships, you can get very low fees. When it comes to campus jobs, top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Hexaware, and many more.

Campus Life :

GIET takes immense pride in presenting MAITRI every year, a youthful Sport-Cultural Fest. This much-awaited annual event is one of its kind in the coastal part of Andhra Pradesh. More than 25000 students participated from 100 engineering colleges. And also more fests like MEDHA are presented every year. Our college library is in a spacious building. The library is open to students and staff members on all working days and has a rich collection of test books, reference books, national and international journals, technology, general studies, and management, and the collection is ever-increasing. GIET has facilities of a food court, gym, sports, library, and hostel. The college gives importance to sports and promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Placement Experience:

Placements for students are good and every student with good academics is eligible for placement drives during the 3-2 semester. Like 70% of the students are getting placed in every year. And the highest package during my batch is 20 LPA.
