The eligibility standards are different for the aforesaid two types of scholarship programs.

Microsoft Tuition Scholarships

  • The student must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program (4 years) at a university or a college in Canada, Mexico or the USA while applying.
  • Clear evidence of academic excellence/ achievement.
  • A minimum GPA should be maintained at the University
    • 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0
    • 4.0 CGPA out of 5.0
  • Satisfactory progress should be displayed towards a UG course in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a corresponding STEM STEM discipline.

Microsoft Diversity Conference Scholarships

  • The student must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s, master’s or Ph.D. program at a university or a college in Canada, Mexico or the United States of America while applying.
  • The student must pursue Computer Engineering, Computer Science or an associated STEM course as their stream for higher studies in the USA, Canada or Mexico.
