The eligibility standards are different for the aforesaid two types of scholarship programs.

Microsoft Tuition Scholarships

The student must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program (4 years) at a university or a college in Canada, Mexico or the USA while applying.
Clear evidence of academic excellence/ achievement.
A minimum GPA should be maintained at the University
- 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0
- 4.0 CGPA out of 5.0
Satisfactory progress should be displayed towards a UG course in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a corresponding STEM STEM discipline.

Microsoft Diversity Conference Scholarships

The student must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s, master’s or Ph.D. program at a university or a college in Canada, Mexico or the United States of America while applying.
The student must pursue Computer Engineering, Computer Science or an associated STEM course as their stream for higher studies in the USA, Canada or Mexico.
