The scholarship is aimed at MBA candidates, who hold an offer from the university and can demonstrate their potential to the economy of the North East of England.

Eligibility Criteria

Students applying for the Newcastle MBA Regional Impact Scholarship have to fulfill the Newcastle University Business School admission requirements of the MBA program. Along with that, they must also satisfy other eligibility conditions. Applicant must:

completed their scholarship application form, along with the essay.
hold a conditional or unconditional offer for the full-time MBA program at Newcastle University Business School of 2021 entry
have a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience, before the start of the MBA program.
preferably hold an equivalent of a UK 2:1 honors degree (they can demonstrate relevant work experience if they do not hold this requirement)
perform well in an interview covering all his/her competency areas.
hold proof of English language proficiency through IELTS scores of 6.5 or its equivalent with a 6.0 minimum in each skillset.

Scholarship applications are invited from students from the UK, EEA or even international students.

Application Process

Applicants need to apply through a separate application for the Newcastle MBA Regional Impact Scholarship. Applicants need to apply online through the Newcastle University scholarship portal.

Step IV: Appear for an interview.

Applicants are required to mandatorily submit the essay and the statement required against the questions asked in the application form relating to the contribution to the experience of the MBA cohort and also the possible contribution to a future organization.

Grant Details

Newcastle MBA Regional Impact Scholarship is awarded to aspiring students who want to study in the UK at Newcastle University Business School. Eligible students who want to pursue an MBA at the university are the only ones eligible for the scholarship.
